We have had some strong performances from Howard County ballers over the past month. Some prospects have really locked in and separated themselves. Let's take a look at who has been balling out.

[player_tooltip player_id='691978' first='Adey' last='Alexander'], Oakland Mills, 2026, Guard

Adey has excelled recently in running the point guard position for the Scorpions. She's been efficient shooting the ball and scoring from all three levels. Her three-point shot has been deadly and she keeps the turnovers to a minimum. She's been defending well and getting the ball to her teammates in good spots.

[player_tooltip player_id='691974' first='Jeriah' last='Shipp'], Oakland Mills, 2026, Forward

Jeriah has really exploded over the last part of the season. She has been assertive with the ball, using an explosive first step to get all the way to the basket. She is a strong finisher, especially when getting to her left hand. She's been active on the glass on both ends of the court. Her mid-range shot has been impressive and has added another dimension to the Oakland Mills offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='565856' first='Dylan' last='Watson'], River Hill, 2025, Wing

Dylan has been a monster on defense in the three games that I saw recently. The Morgan State recruit has been a terror, blocking shots, stealing the ball and serving as a deterrent at the rim. Her versatility as a defender is unmatched. At 6'2" she has incredible length, and her athleticism gives her advantages in almost every match-up.

Jasmin Shelton, Reservoir, 2025, Forward

At 6'0" Jasmin has good length and size. She has been finishing around the basket and drawing contact, getting herself to the line. She is sound fundamentally and moves at a deliberate pace. She has expanded her shot range and recently signed with Lincoln University.

[player_tooltip player_id='620750' first='Gabby' last='Shane'], River Hill, 2026, Guard

Gabby has been a solid contributor on both ends of the court in the last part of the season. Her three-point shot has helped the Hawks stretch the floor and she has helped out with ball handling and breaking the press.

[player_tooltip player_id='579960' first='Sydney' last='Nance'], Long Reach, 2026, Guard

Sydney is a mid-range killer who has been getting to her spots and making defenses pay. She has a nice pull up jumper, but can also get to the basket and finish with floaters. She has good length and is a good on ball defender. She had a 39-point explosion against Guilford Park.
