<p>The Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Player of the Week Award is given to one student-athlete among many deserving candidates who demonstrates excellence during a week of their team's competition. The winner contributes to their team's success in multiple statistical categories to help her team compete to their best potential. Several players were deserving of recognition, but only one can be selected for Player of the Week. Those not chosen as Player of the Week received recognition as Player of the Week Honorable Mention. Here are the girls who had a magnificent eleventh week of the season and it's time to celebrate their accomplishments!</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Paisley came through for the Tigers during their 62-38 win against Wayne Memorial, scoring 33 points with five assists and seven rebounds. Her 12 points in the first quarter gave the team confidence and momentum that carried throughout the game. Paisley connected on four triples, won her individual battles to score off the dribble and created points for teammates with laser passes. Her outstanding performance put Belleville in a position to win the game and avenge their only loss. Paisley turned in another solid performance during Belleville's 79-31 win against Livonia Stevenson, scoring 20 points with five rebounds and four assists. She finished the week with 53 points and 12 rebounds, averaging 11 points and seven assists per game this season. Paisley earned Feb. 9th-15th POTW honors with two great games; she excelled against an elite lineup with a division title at stake.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Olivia set a single-game career high with 39 points during an 89-52 win against New Boston Huron. She contributed in all areas, grabbing eight rebounds, dishing five assists, and swiping three steals. Olivia was dialed in, converting 13 of 18 free throws and 4/5 3PT attempts. She hit double-digits again with 10 points in a 56-24 win against Grosse Ille, adding three rebounds, three assists, and four steals. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Harlem shredded the stat sheet for Groves with 79 points, 26 rebounds, 12 assists, 11 steals, and six blocks in three games last week. She had 15 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and four blocks in a 43-36 win against Royal Oak. Harlem set a new career high in points with 41 (11/11 FT), including nine rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block during a 60-81 loss to Detroit Country Day. She capped off week 11 with 23 points, seven rebounds, four steals, two assists, and one block as Groves defeated Troy 48-43.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Haven is averaging 21 points and nine rebounds per game and she had another outstanding week for Genesee Christian. Haven started the week with 22 points, seven rebounds, nine steals, and six assists in a 54-36 win against Corunna. The next night she poured in 28 points with eight rebounds and five steals during a 57-14 win versus Webberville. Haven ended the week with 24 points, seven steals, and four assists in a 60-12 victory versus Burton Bendle. Haven posted 71 points in 3 wins for Genesee Christian. </p>
