Monday Night Madness – Who won?

This overtime game was a THRILLER! This one is ready to shoot. The streaky, sharpshooter knocked down the first long ball for her team. It wasn't the only one! It was no surprise that she knocked down the first three to start the second half! Holt does a great job moving without the ball. She was truly positionless in this game. She was able to show her versatility all evening. She picked up big rebounds, including a few offensive rebounds. Johnson University is going to love when Kelsey arrives on campus. She did a great job attacking the rim and drawing the foul. I watched the freshman grow tonight! Kyla was trapped with double teams all evening. She had to handle tough defensive pressure the entire game. In my opinion, she handled the pressure amazing! She made the longest 3 pointer of the night in the first quarter. She drilled in long ball after long ball feet away from the line. Collins has a beautiful outside shot! I was extremely impressed with the play by Collins. Let me know if you can count how many times Gamble touched the ball on defense. How many deflections in the first quarter alone? I can't say enough about how great her defensive intensity is and how she stays after it on defense! The guard picked up steal after steal. She deserves every defensive accolade that one can give! She was a game changer, and she changed the momentum in the 2nd quarter to give her team a lead going in at the half. I love the physicality that Gamble plays with. Gamble hit the HUGE 3 with less than 30 seconds in the game to give her team the lead. She then went down and made a HUGE block with 11 seconds left in the game. Gamble came up with another block right after that one. She set numerous hard screens. She's had big blocks all season! She had the best block of the game in the 4th quarter. This block by Bailey came at a crucial time! She did a great job positioning and rebounding. Burroughs is a strong, rebounding machine. She knocked down a huge three pointer in the 3rd quarter! I loved the beautiful inside-out game with the nice assist to Gamble for a 3 in the 4th quarter! Josie poured in 33 points! Moody provided her team the offense that it needed once more against Union County. She was a solid two-way player all evening. Again, she has incredible length that she knows how to use on both sides of the court. She was a stat stuffer; hauling in rebounds, picking up steals, blocking shots, and making a few nice assists. She scored from numerous spots on the court. Moody came up huge all game! Armes knocked down 2 threes in the first quarter! She also added a beautiful block, a nice steal, and a beautiful dime to Cawood! She did this within the first 6 minutes of action! I've watched Addie play numerous times throughout her high school and AAU career, and she keeps getting better! She is playing more aggressive! She is finding her shot and letting it fly. She knocked down another 3 within the first minute of the 2nd quarter against Oakdale. She had 9 extremely fast points! She's a consistent, efficient athlete that plays the game the right way. Kyleigh was scoring from all three levels. She crashed the boards hard the entire game. She picked up numerous offensive rebounds for her team. Defensively, she does a great job hounding opponents and getting 5 second calls. Offensively, she does a great job of penetrating the gaps. She continues to have elite court vision. She can score at will!
