Eleva-Strum may have had the most impressive one-season turnaround of 2024-25, and nobody will talk about it because they're a small school and off the beaten path. However, what Glenz has done in her sophomore season has been impressive. She leads her team in most statistical categories and has led the Cardinals to more wins this season (13) than in the last two seasons combined (11). She's been the hub of what they do on the offensive end of the floor, and she's found ways to make plays each night she steps onto the floor.

Another small-school standout who's thrived this season is a 2028 at Spring Valley. Hollihan has been the focal point of what the Cardinals have done this season and has been more effective than anyone could've hoped. She's finished around the rim and consistently making a solid percentage of her three-point attempts. Even though it hasn't translated to wins in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference. Spring Valley should be excited about what Hollihan could bring to the Cardinals program. Few kids can excel in a situation that Hollihan has done in her first season.

Dominican has traditionally been a program that plays slow and controls the pace but has given the green light to kids in the past, and Love has that role now. Love has been excellent for the Knights and has had a career season. She's scoring over 20 per game and leading the Knights in assists as we head to the business end of the season. Her speed is game-changing, and her ability to beat her defender off the dribble forces defenses to react to what she's doing with the ball, which opens up the floor for her teammates to attack in space or take spot-up jumpers. She can make her teammate's lives easier.

The 5'11 wing has a reputation for being streaky when it comes to shooting from the perimeter, but when she's making shots, she can shoot her team into any game against any team. She's made 23 total three-pointers in her last three games, which has to be up there for the most hits in a three-game stretch in state history. At any point, Otto is the kind of shooter who can turn a game on its head with her ability to make shots with volume from the perimeter. I still remember her making seven threes to beat North Tartan's 15U EYBL team, which ended up as a final-four team in EYBL.
