To be a, “Stock-Riser”, means a few things depending on how you look at it but the most important factor in my opinion is that the prospect is continuously putting in meaningful work in their off-time and that work is translating to the floor in real game-time. In this piece, we cover five individuals out of this 2026 Class in Nebraska, that have embodied what it means to be a Stock-Riser these past few months.

This AAU Spring/Summer season is a vital one for anyone out of this 2026 Class. It's the time that all colleges are in full-swing to stack their rosters for years to come. A prospect that is going to pick up a ton of attention with her ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB program is SG - [player_tooltip player_id='820519' first='Eleanor' last='Griffin']. Griffin is a lights out three point shooter with great height at 6'0. This height gives Griffin the natural advantage to be able to shoot over most smaller defender that might be in her space or that might be closing out on rotation. With her AAU program, Griffin gets to play her natural position and it's fun to watch. When she has a few ball handlers around her creating off the dribble, she knows where to move into space for open looks and those looks like to go in a lot. Prior to this Winter, Griffin had D2 interest from a few places. If she plays to her full capabilities these next six months, who knows who might be in to watch and offer her.

Some college out there is going to get a steal over this next year when PG - [player_tooltip player_id='964973' first='Ava' last='Reed'] of Scottsbluff ends up committing. Reed is Nebraska's best kept secret out of the 2026 Class. Since she competes out of the West side of the state, many don't get to see Reed but she has all the intangibles to be a great college player and maybe even beyond that one day. Reed competes as a PG that can pass or score at 5'11. She has a patient handle and the ability to make anything happen out of a tough situation in both the half and full courts. When she is attacking the defense she creates a lot of chaos with her stop-and-go ability. This keeps the defenders off balance and helps Reed maximize her spacing in a short amount of time. Coming off of a successful Junior high school campaign, Reed will be on the AAU road with State 38 Basketball out of Colorado. If she plays her cards right and continues to work on her weaknesses, she is going to be a killer come Winter 2025 and one heck of a college athlete one day.

Pender High School won their Class State Title last weekend with dominant performances all week long. They shined in every facet of the game when they competed and the final scores of each contest reflect that. Someone that really showed out for them was 2026 SG - [player_tooltip player_id='871243' first='Madalyn' last='Dolliver']. Dolliver is a knock down shooter from deep. This season she put her name in the state record books for making 111 three's throughout her season as a whole. This number just shows you how good this team has been and how good Dolliver has been playing from all over the floor. She can be a catch-and-shoot killer when she is feeling it and that's been the case this entire Winter. She does possess the ability to put the ball on the floor as well when overplayed but her best ability is to make it rain from distance. Doesn't matter if she is contested or not. If she has some space and time, it's going up and it's usually going to look good while doing so. That's a big reason she moves up 10+ spots into our #13 overall ranking throughout her 2026 Class.

Westview made big waves this Winter in some of their contests by playing sound defense, aggressive offense, and having an overall great game plan from the scouting report. The player that led that charge is CG - Cardy King. King would be labeled more as an off-guard than anything else but she can also dish it out to open teammates at a higher rate than most as well so I think it's safe to say she can switch it up as a CG. There were multiple contests this Winter when King went off to lead her team to victory. She was getting to the rim at Will off the dribble, finishing her takes with extreme body control in the air. She was pushing the pace in transition and finishing through contact consistently, and she led everyone around her with passion. There was never a lack of emotion or anything like that. You always know when King is feeling it and that's not a bad thing. This is someone that jumped up a bunch of stops in this Update so now it's time to see how she responds this AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] program.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213941' first='Jaisie' last='Janssen'] isn't just a stock-riser in our system, she is a new addition that has put her name on the map this past week with her performances with her Crofton High School program. Janssen, a 6'0 C/PF, absolutely controlled the paint in all of her games, averaging over 12 RPG every time she laced up her kicks on the big stage. This amount of rebounding takes natural height, a high motor, a willingness to mix it up physicality with everyone and anyone around them, and an ability to know where the ball is going to come off of the rim on a missed shot attempt. As you can imagine, Janssen is also a problem under the hoop offensively with her size but she really shines on the boards. That's a no brainer.
