Flowers ripped through the Prince George's County public school division this season and were one of the favorites to win the state. Brooke was a huge reason for the success. She averaged close to five points per game but her biggest impact came on the glass as the 5'8" guard grabbed over 10 rebounds a game. She has a knack for attacking and finding the ball after misses on both ends of the floor.

Layla now has a state championship under her belt after helping North Point defeat Western in the finals. Her ten points per game was the catalyst to a 20 plus win season. She did most of her work from the point guard position while dishing out four boards and four assists per game.

Kamryn has nice length for a post. She plays the center but can stretch out and shoot the three making it difficult to determine what position player to defend her with. She can put the ball on the floor to start the break and she runs the court well. She has some skill to face up and attack from the perimeter. As she keeps adding to her game she will be a target for a lot of college coaches.

Layla stands at 6'2 and led Oakdale with 15 points per game and 25 wins. She is a solid rebounder grabbing 8 boards a game with several double-doubles this season. Falling short of a state championship was disappointing but I'm looking for the junior to come back next season with a chip on her shoulder, putting up even bigger numbers as the Bears will lose a few seniors.

Ayana went a perfect 5 for 5 from the line with 11 points and 9 boards in the MDPSSBT. She did not back going against college level posts players while in front of some college coaches. Her efforts didn't go unnoticed as a couple of division one's acquired about her. Rosedale was short handed and over matched against St. Frances but, it will be fun to see what she will do over the summer and next season with her full squad on deck with her.
