Anna added an exclamation point to her spectacular career with two dominant performances at the Breslin. She proved exactly why she received more first and second-place votes than any other Miss Basketball nomination. Anna exploded for 56 points in two games and shot a perfect 16/16 from the free throw line--that's not normal. She scored 30 points (10/10 FT, 4 3pt), with three assists, and three steals in a 61-42 win vs. Wayne Memorial. Anna led the Rams with a spirited finals performance vs. Belleville with 26 points (6/6 FT, 2 3pt). She won Miss Basketball and PGH Senior Player of the Year in what was a special senior season--she'll have an entire state rooting her on at Butler next year.

Sydney was great at the Breslin as a freshman and she took her game to an even higher level as a sophomore. Sydney led the Tigers to a hard-fought 60-55 win vs. defending champion West Bloomfield in the semifinals with 21 points (5/6 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. She dominated for Belleville again in the Finals with 22 points (7/8 FT, 3 3pt), five rebounds, four steals, three assists, and two blocks. The Tigers defeated Rockford 61-48 to win their first state title and are the favorite to repeat next season. Sydney was Michigan's Gatorade Player of the Year and PGH Sophomore Player of the Year.

Iyana gave Belleville the interior edge they needed on both ends to bring the state title trophy home. Iyana scored 4 points with 10 rebounds and four blocks in the semifinals vs. West Bloomfield and won the inside battle with a productive 12 points and eight rebounds vs. Rockford in the Finals. Iyana protected the basket by blocking and challenging shots with excellent body control to prevent foul calls. She secured many offensive rebounds, finished shots around the rim, and knocked down free throws. Iyana will be an excellent addition to Schoolcraft's team next year.

SeCrette has elite 3-point shooting accuracy and systematic mechanics--her perimeter scoring helped Belleville secure the state title. She converted more triples than anybody at the Breslin with eight in two games. SeCrette knocked down four triples w/ 18 points in the semifinals vs. West Bloomfield and repeated that production with four triples in the Finals, giving the Tigers 12 points vs. Rockford.

Paisley is a freshman who can handle pressure situations against great teams--her poised play at the Breslin Center helped Belleville secure their first state title. Paisley started with a well-rounded 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists vs. West Bloomfield. In the Finals, she poured in another 10 points with three assists. Paisley beat defenders with her shifty drives to the basket, finished layups, converted free throws, and off-loaded accurate passes to teammates for assists. Paisley should have an even better sophomore season.

Breasia ended her West Bloomfield career with an impressive performance vs. the eventual state champion Belleville in the state semifinals. She tied the team-high with 17 points (6/6 FT) and secured five rebounds including five assists. Breasia's combination of ball-handling moves, three-level scoring, determination, passing ability, and athleticism make her a major addition to Madonna's 2025 class.

Sheridan stepped up for the Lakers against eventual state champion Belleville during the state semifinals. Sheridan buried three triples from the corner and swiped the ball away to score a layup. She tied the team-high with 17 points and was active in the zone, snagging five steals. Sheridan has a clean step-back jumper that's deadly from mid and long-range. She quickly positions her feet towards the basket to shoot with accuracy and balance off the catch.

Colleena led the Zebras back to the state semifinals after receiving recognition as a Miss Basketball Finalist and PGH Senior Player of the Year. She scored a team-high 15 points with seven assists during Wayne Memorial's matchup against Rockford. Colleena graduates as Michigan's top ranked point guard and we will be cheering her on at Drexel next season.
