Freshman Player of the Year Finalist

She was a 1st Team All-Region player and she put up some impressive numbers. Villa could end up being a 1,000 point scorer and 1,000 rebounder along with 500 blocks and that is if there is minimal improvement. There was a lot of growth in her game from spring and summer to the start of the season to where she was at the end of the season. Pope had a few games where she was the game changer and at times it wasn't always scoring. Her movement and activity was one of the reasons she was able to help her team get extra possessions and scoring opportunities. Great motor, great IQ and skillset to come in as a freshman. With her ability to be on and off the ball really helped her a ton, especially staying on the floor. Hollingshead surpassed 300 points this season and almost pulled down 100 rebounds. Rockenfield was able to play multiple positions. Zoe often brought the ball up and initiated offense. She was also an option as a SG off the ball. Blakelie is talented when she gets downhill and she has some speed and you mix those two together and that creates a great scorer and creator. She has a big spring and summer ahead of her.
