USE CODE "tinnon30" FOR 30% OFF THE FIRST PURCHASE OF ANY SUBSCRIPTION

Last but not least, we now touch on who made the TSSAA All-State tournament team. This classification was filled with some very promising prospects. The matchups for these games had all the headlines, plus kids who just really got after it. Talent was not even a question in this division as teams got after it displaying a very aggressive style of play on both ends of the floor.

What I loved the most about this classification was that the individuals who hooped in this class brought a vast array of different styles of play. You saw teams press. You saw teams play bully ball. You saw teams spread the floor and really get after it. Too, though some didn't make the list of being named All-State, there were girls who stepped up for their club in a major way. Sure, was this class filled with controversy (such as the #1 team in the state play the #2 team in the state in the first round)? Absolutely. Even still, the girls who made the All-State team earned the right to be named.

Check out the young ladies who finished as the 4A TSSAA All-State Tournament Team.

MVP of the tournament. Out of three games, she finished with 58 points, 28 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals, and 1 block. She shot 69% from the field. As you all know, Kimora is one of the top talents in the state. She dominated the painted area as she muscled through the opposition countless times over the course of the tournament. She wouldn't be denied as she picked her spots and exploited the defense. She brought the physicality out and used it to her advantage as she did work on the interior. She not only got after it offensively but showed up big-time on the defensive end as well as on the boards. A sensational talent who is going to be a nuisance even at the next level.

I think she is one of the most selfless players in the state. Her ability to sacrifice her stats for the greater good of the team is unheard of. Sure she could score it at a high clip from multiple spots, and she has a nice mid-range game to compliment her ability to work the low post area, however, what sets her apart from other people is her ability to rebound the basketball and defend. She has a knack for being in the right spot at the right time when it comes to rebounding the basketball. Defensively, she is going to lock up the number one option of the opponent. Doesn't matter if it's a guard or a big, she will sit down and put them in a phone booth. This kid is phenomenal and she is going to be a tremendous asset at Kennesaw State.

A smaller guard who plays a big role for the Lady Bearettes. I love her ability to push the ball in transition. She did well finding the hot hand, spacing the floor to either get a shot for herself, free up an opportunity for her teammates to work, or attack downhill to the rim. She was solid on the defensive end making the opponent feel uncomfortable. She has committed to Chatt State. Once she is on campus, look for her to get some minutes early and be an asset to their program.

Solid guard who can play both on or off the ball. She is a heady player who can spot up and shoot the deep ball. When she is running the point, she is an efficient facilitator who can feed the hot hand as well as attack gaps. She is active as she rotates to the right spot in order to cause turnovers when the team is on D. She is heading to Samford next season with a boatload of accolades to tote with her. She is a proven winner and will be a valuable asset at the next level.

Next-level talent who is taking her talents to the SEC playing with the University of Arkansas. A lethal weapon that can score on all three levels. She has an interior game where she can post on the blocks, attack from the arc, knock down the mid-range, and really just exploit from both near and far. She is a tone-setter on the defensive end where she utilizes her speed to create chaos. She gets steals, blocks shots, and contributes on the boards. One of the top guards/ players in the state, this young lady is a three-level scoring threat who knows how to fill it up. She is lethal with the ball in her hands and knows how to exploit any defense thrown at her. She is a dawg on the defensive end too. With active hands and active feet, she can put any opponent in a phone booth and lock them up. A sensational talent that has P4 coaches clamoring for her commitment. She will be taking her talents to Lenoir-Rhyne next year where she will be knocking the 3 ball down at the next level. She had a great season with Bearden as she helped them reach a final-four appearance. This kid is talented and plays hard on both ends of the floor. Her contributions helped lay the foundation of a solid Bearden program that will wreak havoc for years to come. Had a great tournament and she will look to carry this momentum into the fall as she steps foot on LR's campus.

Heady ball player who plays with poise. She can score from multiple levels, attack with a plan in mind, compete on the defensive end, and be a solid leader on the floor for her ball club. She was super impressive during the tournament as she didn't get rattled easily. She made the right adjustments, knew when to speed up or slow down play for her ball club, and just played solidly on both ends of the floor. In my opinion, she had a knack for being in the right spot at the right time when it came to doing the little things. She's a great talent who will look to get her club back to the tournament next season.
