As we close out April, the Shamrock Classic is well in the past, the Prime Event, The Clash, and other events have come and gone, and now we turn our focus to May. There will be several nice tournaments, including another "live" period, so I wanted to point out a handful of 2027 prospects who could see their recruiting really take off with a little more exposure.

[player_tooltip player_id='743355' first='Isabelle' last='Eke'], 2027, 6-0 SF, Bishop Dwenger H.S.
- Isabelle is a very talented, high ceiling prospect who is just starting to scratch the surface. Her older sister is a big, powerful, low-block post who has a little touch in the mid-post, but Isabelle is much more versatile and athletic. She has really nice length, an athletic frame, and she runs the floor very well. She's good off the bounce, and she can create a little for others as well. She is improving her perimeter shooting, plus she's able to defend the paint or the perimeter equally.

[player_tooltip player_id='756236' first='Kendal' last='Hill'], 2027, 5-8 CG, South Knox H.S.
- Kendal was great in a supportive role as a Sophomore this Winter, helping to lead South Knox to a Class 2A state title. Moving forward, she will be their focal point, but this Spring & Summer could be her opportunity to display her game in front of colleges. She has a long, wiry-strong frame, she's a nice athlete, and she can play with backcourt versatility. She's able to handle the ball and act as a traditional PG, or she can shoot/score it from all three levels. She's also an effortful defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='751050' first='Chesney' last='Jackson'], 2027, 6-0 PF, Charlestown H.S.
- The elite small colleges in the Midwest need to get out and see Chesney, because she is a walking double-double. She can shoot/score the ball from all three levels, she is a nice all-around athlete who can attack the basket, plus she can box out or pursue rebounds outside of her area. She's quietly tough-nosed, she's hard-working, and she is willing to do a lot of the "little things" to help her team win. She is somewhat hidden in Southern Indiana but deserves attention this Spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='934000' first='Erika' last='Larson'], 2027, 6-1 PF/C, Avon H.S.
- I have only seen Erika a couple of times briefly, but what I saw at the PGH showcase in the Fall was impressive. She has good height, nice length, and she moves around the floor very well. In the end, she will be a face-up forward, but she is still building her skillset away from the basket. She runs the floor, works hard, and doesn't mind some physicality here and there. Defensively, she creates lane protection with her length and athleticism, and offensively she continues to improve.

[player_tooltip player_id='1137310' first='Te'Asia' last='Briscoe'], 2027, 6-0 PF/SF, Purdue Polytechnic H.S. (Englewood)
- Te'Asia is a bit of a wildcard right now, because even she is just starting to figure out what she possesses talent-wise. She has a solid to strong frame, some length, and she's a solid all-around athlete. Right now, she looks most comfortable around the paint where she can score it with either hand, plus she'll rebound. At the same time, she has some touch facing the basket, and I think that part of her game can really develop over time. As she learns how to play lower, watch out!
