Te’Asia Briscoe continues to develop into one of the more intriguing wings in the state because of her athleticism, length, and ability to impact multiple areas of the floor. At Purdue Poly, she gives her team a versatile forward who can defend several positions while also creating offense in transition. Her motor stands out immediately, especially on the defensive end where she can disrupt passing lanes and turn defense into easy scoring opportunities.
Heading into June, Briscoe will be counted on to continue expanding her offensive game and become more consistent as a perimeter scorer. She already shows flashes of being able to attack downhill and finish through contact, and when she is aggressive, she changes the pace of the game. Her upside remains extremely high because of her physical tools and versatility. Expect her to be a major piece for Purdue Poly this summer as she continues to attract more attention from college programs.

A couple of weeks ago, I felt like Te’Asia needed to play with more consistent urgency from possession to possession. But this past weekend against some talented opponents, she had flashes where you could see her talent and skill step up and look like she was right where she belongs. She is long, wiry-strong, and fluidly athletic in most directions. She plays with some bounce as well. She can handle it a little, she shoots a solid ball to the 3-point line, and she can finish with a variety of moves around the basket. I also think she can become an excellent on-ball defender in time.

was one of the more active and energetic players to watch on Day 1 of The Classic Tournament. From the opening tip, she played with great intensity and consistently found ways to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
Her length immediately stood out and made things difficult for opposing teams throughout the day. Whether it was finishing around the basket, disrupting passing lanes defensively, or creating extra opportunities with her activity, Briscoe used her size and athleticism extremely well.
Offensively, she did a great job of taking what the defense gave her instead of forcing difficult shots. She stayed patient, made smart reads, and capitalized on scoring opportunities when they presented themselves. Her ability to play under control while still bringing energy helped her remain effective throughout the game.
Briscoe’s activity level, length, and ability to make winning plays allowed her to stand out as a player that consistently impacted the flow of the game on Day 1 of the tournament.

I feel like Te’Asia is still one of the lesser-known talents in Indiana’s 2027 class, so this will be a big Spring & Summer grassroots season for her. She is long, wiry-strong, and athletic in most directions, including having some bounce in her. She’s definitely not a post prospect, but she can defend a little inside against undersized forwards, she’s a pursuing rebounder, and she is solid scoring it from offensive rebounds or shooting/driving it from the mid-post. Additionally, she has touch to the 3-point line, and she has steadily improved her handle and perimeter defense as well.

I’ve had the opportunity to watch Te’Asia in the past, and one of the first things that consistently stands out is her footwork when scoring the basketball. Whether she’s operating on the perimeter or working in the low post, she does a great job using her feet and body to create scoring opportunities.
She also brings good size and presence, which is a valuable asset for this IBC team. Her ability to score inside and out gives the offense another layer, while her physical tools allow her to compete effectively against a variety of matchups.
Te’Asia’s combination of size, skill, and footwork makes her an important piece in helping IBC compete at a high level and secure wins.
