I do like the nastiness that [player_tooltip player_id='758274' first='Jada' last='James'] of [program_tooltip program_id='779942' first='ETG' last='Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB'] was competing with in Day 1 of their Adidas Live Period. James, a skilled PG with a fundamental shooting stroke, had her full arsenal on display to start the weekend. She was hitting catch and shoot jumpers, hitting jumpers off the dribble, she was getting to all her spots on the offensive side of the ball, and she didn't take off any plays on defense either. James has the potential to compete at the next level. We have said that for a few years now and I expect her to keep on this same trajectory moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='884640' first='Aubrey' last='Carder'] demonstrated on Friday afternoon that she really is,"that girl", with how well she was competing up on the 17U UAA Circuit. Carder is only a prospect out of the 2028 Class. So that she is playing up and playing some of the best ball on her own 17U team right now is noteworthy. Carder's individual skill is very impressive. When it comes to 1v1 situations on both ends of the floor, she does a great job of making the most of her opportunities and showing. Over-time, the questions she will have to answer are more concepts of team basketball but for now, she is showing out and her team is winning. As a coach, that's all you can ask for.

This is the second weekend in a row in which [player_tooltip player_id='757575' first='Akazja' last='Foster'] has been producing with some efficient basketball. Foster is a 5'6/5'7 PG with a tight handle, better than average vision, a solid offensive mind-set, and a high motor. All of these things have been combining together on the road to start this 2025 AAU season and because of that, Foster has looked like one of the best on her team a majority of the time. This is someone that can move between the 1, 2, or 3 spot depending on what is needed out of her in that very moment. All in all, good showing from Foster so far. Let's see if she can keep it rolling on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Another hooper from the 2028 Class that has been making waves this AAU season on the road is [player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner'] of Bennington High School. Reiner has a natural ability to be in the right place at the right time, she is fundamentally coordinated in most facets of the game, and she understands what she does best compared to her weaknesses. On Friday, Reiner stood out in the NE Attack UAA program as someone to keep an eye on. There were a few college coaches in attendance and I'm sure that they have interest in Reiner moving forward if she continues to play her own type of game. Just like she did to start off the weekend.
