PGH circuit hit Oklahoma on Friday night and it did not disappoint. I enjoy seeing players I know and those that I have never seen before. My coverage ranged from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Missouri in the 17u and 15u age groups. More coverage to come but check out these 6 players that caught my attention.

Impressive player that i s listed as a power forward but did a little bit of everything on the floor. Always moving without the ball making great things happen consistently. Strong post ups on the block holding off the taller defender moving the feet lateral to provide a passing angle for the guard. Showed several moves in the paint. Up and under to a strong rocker drop step. A match up problem for opposing teams with the shooting range of the 3 and the post up capabilities.

A incoming freshman next season that brings a very high ceiling with her. A long 6'1 forward that I have seen over the past two summer and her game just keeps developing. Great hands in the post that grabs passes some post just can't catch. Strong post moves in the paint hitting her defender with several moves. Runs the floor like a deer filling the lanes on break. Showed mid-range shooting to go along with the 3. Shot block ability around the rim on defense. What caught my eye was the length and later movement on the front of 1-2-2 press.

A player that plays with a ton of energy on both ends of the floor. Listed as a small forward and fills that listing. I would classify her as that old school 3 guard (flasher). The ability to hit the outside shot opened up driving lanes which she attack aggressive. A young lady that I am seeing for the first time and stood out on the way she moved without the ball. Creating scoring opportunities for herself.

A small/combo guard that can hurt with the deep 3-point shot. Kash game really excel when she has the ball in her hand working the set up to attack downhill off the drive. Physical guard that does not mind taking the contact to the rim for the And 1 finish. A sweet spin move finish left the defender in place wondering where she went. Great timing on defense jumping the passing lane for easy transition points on the other end. The size and scoring abilities make her a tough match up against a smaller guard. A player that you want to have in your system if you press and run a spread offense.

A player that plays with a ton of energy on both ends of the floor. Aggressive and physical offensive player that picked up the scoring as the press wore the other team out. Scored at a high percentage rate in transition either off a layup or pull up jumper. Like the dropping of the shoulder and getting low on the downhill attacks finishing with the layup or kick out to shooter. What stood out the most was on the offensive rebounding I could not count how many times she came from outside the paint for the board. A very athletic player.

First thing I notice is the footwork she has in the post. Working her feet to create a better opportunity of scoring in the post. Great size at 5'10 and strong looking player for a incoming freshman. If you did not know she was a 2028 you would guess she was a junior with the poise she played with in the paint on the rebound, she has a great sense of reading it coming off the rim as she was in position for the putback. On defensive she had a physical presence in the paint as nothing was easy for the opposing teams. I did see help rotation for the contested shot which for a incoming freshman to understand help D is huge.
