And she also knows when to just move her feet, be in the right position and use her wingspan advantage to make life tough. At the rim, Hartman's long arms give her unique finishing angles, allowing her to still finish even in traffic. To even swiping away loose dribbles to cause further havoc. Also strong at the rim offensively. She's capable of getting position for post ups or muscling her way to putbacks from offensive rebounds. Also capable of handling the ball with face up drives from the perimeter and helping to keep the offense flowing with passes. Tracks down long rebounds/loose balls on defense. Fights for offensive rebounds in traffic. Runs the floor, which fortunately her teammates often rewarded her. And she keeps the ball high and scores quickly. With solid touch from 6 feet and in. There's a lot to be said for young players understanding their roles and staring in that role. Works hard to hedge and show off of ball screens and other plays when she's dragged away from the basket. Also is willing to get on the floor for 50/50 balls. Stays aware and has good overall movement on defense. Offensively, she's an eager screener and is already a strong rebounder.
