The 2027 Player Rankings have been updated & Florida will always have some new names and faces added to each update with having prep schools, an international presence, and just a desirable place for people to move. Below are mostly true-Florida kids mixed in with a couple fresh faces to the state. Here are some new faces ranked in the Top 100 of the 2027 rankings:

Ke'Nya has one of the highest ceilings of any player in her class. She's tall, lengthy, and a great frame for the next level. She is very mobile for a post player and runs the floor well. Her presence is always felt in the paint with her ability to block or deter shots on defense or snag boards on either end. Every time I see her play, she has gotten better with her finishes and footwork around the rim. Her mid-range game and ball handling continue to improve as well.

Riley is an incredibly versatile player in the 2027 class. Standing at 5'11, she is long and can use that versatility to guard multiple positions or create a mismatch on offense. She's one of the best shooters in the class and moves well without the ball to find that open spot for a good look. Riley runs the floor well and seems to have a good feel for the game in the few times I've seen her live.

Micaela really impressed me a couple weekends ago when I saw her play. She sees the floor so well and always has her head up looking for her open teammates. Her quickness and bouncy play make her difficult to guard but also helps her pick the pockets of her opponents. She can definitely shoot it from outside but will make the extra pass if another shot is available. I fully expect her to climb these rankings after this debut in the Top 50.

Emma is one of the best true PG's in her class. She's a confident, high IQ player that facilitates and makes her teammates look better. Last season, she averaged 14 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, and 4 steals per game. Her ability to knock down the open three and slash or attack the rim just adds another layer to her already unselfish game as a pure point guard. She plays with high competitive energy and is a charismatic leader that can rally and motivate a team.

Ya'Niyah was lucky enough to get some extra talent at Northeast this year which made for a fun season. She helped her team reach the Final 4 at Lakeland & had a massive double-double in their one game there. Ya'Niyah is a bit undersized for her position, but she makes up for it with her strength and hustle. Her grit and determination to get every rebound and put it back up is inspiring which can bring a ton of energy to a team. It will be interesting to see if she continues to work on her outside shot, because she has potential to be a really special player with that added element.

Annie is a bit of a swiss army knife for her high school team. This season, she averaged 15.8 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 5 spg, and 2.2 apg on her way to becoming a First Team All-Conference selection. She runs the court well and can put up points in a hurry in transition. Her length allows her to get in passing lanes and turn defense into offense with those aforementioned transition points.

Bri has some serious range and can knock it down from anywhere. She is a very unselfish player that sees the floor and passes it well. Don't be fooled by her size, she's a pesky defender and will grab a rebound and push it in transition with solid pace. Her ability to be able to do a bit of everything and willingness to do anything for her team allowed her to crack the Top 100 in her rankings debut.
