With so much action happening these past few days, there has been several prospects that have stood out to myself, other evaluators, other recruiters, and college coaches themselves. Which is what it's all about! Taking your team to a tournament and showing out in front of everyone that is paying attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='895139' first='Kate' last='Lowe'] of NLE AAU out of Nebraska was her team's leader in PPG this weekend throughout their four contests. Lowe, a 5'5 PG, showed off her seasoned play making ability and her skill-set as a scoring threat in every contest she played over the last 4-5 days. When the dust settled Lowe was averaging just over 7 PPG, along with a handful of assists, steals, and rebounds to pair with that. In general Lowe did a great job of mixing it up. She would attack off the dribble at times with her blow-by speed and sometimes she would slow it down to run a set or offense that her team might have had in mind. In the end, Lowe showed her control this weekend and that was the most eye-opening thing for myself. To be able to control means everything as a PG so as long as she keeps that up, she should continue to see success.

You can't have a much better weekend than the one that Riley Schellhammer put together in the desert with her Michigan Crossover EYBL team over these last few days. Schellhammer, a promising PG out of the state of Indiana, averaged 21.5 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 2.4 SPG during Live Period #1. Including 91% from the charity stripe at 30-33 and 50% from three point land while going 21-42. As you can see, this was a impactful weekend for Schellhammer. She is coming off of a great freshman campaign at Fishers but EYBL competition is different so to put up those numbers, it's important. When the weekend came to a close, this team ended 4-1 and that's the most important factor in all of this. Schellhammer not only played well and did her thing, she helped her team win and that means everything.

Joy Pettigrew is one of the best young talents that the nation has to offer out of the 2030 Class level. Pettigrew possesses noteworthy size at around 5'10, she is extremely coordinated and athletic, she has a great touch on the ball, and she is very knowledgeable in the game of basketball as a whole already. This past week in AZ, Pettigrew put on a show with her EYBL Midwest Meanstreets crew. She was hitting deep shots off the catch and dribble, she would take her defender off the dribble for a simple look at the rim or for nasty step back jumpers, or she would even play off the ball and create opportunities in those sort of ways as a slasher. All in all, this is someone to watch for. I wouldn't be surprised if she is ESPNW ranked one day for her Class.

[program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] always bring some interesting players to the floor. The type of players that should and could be able to compete at the next level one day, if they so choose. A solid player they have this Spring/Summer season out of the 2028 Class is [player_tooltip player_id='1044943' first='Kalyn' last='Litwiler'] of Southeast Polk High School. Litwiler is a natural. No other way to put it. When she has the ball in her hands, things get done from the SG position. This Winter this was someone that was a big piece of her SE Polk Ram's system. She was one of the more aggressive, coordinated, and calculated players, which always seemed to fetch results in one way or another. Over the start of this AAU season, KL has picked things off where she left off on the high school floor. She has been her normal-self and looking like she is in tip-top shape moving into the month of May. We will see how things continue to shake out but this is a hooper that should get a chance to compete on a college floor if she stays locked in.

Khloe Nicholson and her Missouri Phenom 16U EYBL team were one of the only groups to put together an undefeated weekend at Nike TOC for their first Live Period of the 2025 AAU season. Nicholson played so well that following this event, she received an offer from Alabama to kick off her week. As a prospect, Nicholson made all the right moves this weekend. She facilitated as the PG in charge down the floor, she moved off the ball and hit open shots as her team's SG or CG, she rebounded as much as you'd expect, and she played better than average defense within her team's system. All in all, great showing from this star and her Phenom team. When I first had the chance to see Khloe as an 8th grade, she was impressive but now? That she is almost at 6'1/6'2 and still moves like a 5'10 prospect is pretty wild but that's why she is #1 in her 2028 Class in Illinois.
