[player_tooltip player_id='900208' first='MJ' last='Murphy'] will be a player we keep an eye on moving into the rest of this Winter with how well she has been playing the past 2-3 months. We mentioned Murphy prior to this season on the AAU floor but she has stepped up as being someone to note for the rest of her high school career with the promise she is showing at this point. Murphy is currently only a Freshman but she stands at 6'1 with touch on the basketball and solid coordination for her size. You can't teach height and so as long as Murphy can build on the foundation she has in place now, she should be moving into out Top Five out of this Class before you know it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224969' first='Kenzli' last='Vasa'] has been somewhat slept on as a player so far this Winter at Lincoln Standing Bear High Schoo. Vasa is a shifty and thorough PG at 5'5. She moves effortlessly down the floor and she is the type that can really control the pace of play of a contest when the ball is in her possession. We have seen the natural instincts of Vasa for years now and she is only getting better. As long as she comes correct nd shows out this AAU season on the road against high end competition, she should be just fine as she continues to grow in this game. For now though, she holds onto our #7 spot moving into the month of January.

[player_tooltip player_id='896729' first='Charlotte' last='Hoffman'] is one of two Freshman seeing time at Millard West currently and that is noteworthy. Hoffman is a 5'10 Forward, that is good at moving around the court to make herself open. She might have some height and she might play the Forward spot but she can hold her own by spreading the floor and attacking from an outside angle if need be. I expect Millard West to play Hoffman more and more over the next few months moving into the Spring. If they can give her that confidence to come back as a Sophomore as one of their big producers, it's going to help them in the long run.

Just looking at the pure skill and playmaking ability of [player_tooltip player_id='1268673' first='Natalie' last='Hoffman'] is eye-opening for a player of this age. It's not that she pulls out crazy moves. She is just situationally aware, she understands what to do when at a high rate, she makes everyone else around her better, while being able to be her team's main source of production in different categories. Hoffman is having a solid start to her Freshman year campaign. She is a hard worker in the off-season from all the videos we see so I bet she continues to get better with time. Just like everyone has to out of this Class if they want to stay relevant over their high school careers.

The numbers that [player_tooltip player_id='897361' first='Ella' last='Huskey'] is putting up are a main reason that she snuck into this Top 10 ranking in this Update. Huskey is playing for a smaller school out of Nebraska and she is killing it because of that. It's not only that fact, she is skilled in several aspects but her competition level is playing a factor into the staggering numbers. When you look at the state from a top producer prospective, Huskey leads several categories at this time. Which is impressive considering she is a 5'1 SG, undersized at her position. Huskey has a bright future in this game if the right steps are taken moving forward. She needs to learn how to play off of two feet a little more but other than that, she is in a good spot at this time.
