Last month, we updated our rankings in each of the four graduating classes currently in high school. With the Spring grassroots season in full swing, I wanted to take a moment to press 'pause', go back, and look at a few Forwards & Posts in the Class of 2028 who we currently have listed with a little analysis on each of them.

Addison came out and went to work as a Freshman this year. She is strong for her age, she has length, solid all-around athleticism, and she works hard up front. She can score it in and around the paint, she's active rebounder who can pursue boards outside of her area or box out with physicality, and she does a nice job of protecting the basket defensively for a younger player. As she continues to stretch her offensive game away from the basket, watch out!

There are some nice frontline players in this class in Central Indiana, and a few at Lawrence North. Zion is a hard worker for her age/size, she is very active at both ends of the floor, and she has a bright future ahead of her. She is willing to be physical, but she also has a wiry-strong frame that can be intimidating to opponents. Defensively, she can contribute immediately, and offensively, she works hard at her game, and I feel like more will come in time.

When I saw Amaya earlier this Spring, I was really excited about what the future could hold for her. She is extremely long, wiry, and fairly fluid athletically. She has some skill offensively, and I feel like with continued work, she could possibly even become a tall wing by the end of her career. She doesn't shy away from contact and goes inside to rebound/defend. But I still think her future could very well be on the perimeter with a little more work.

At her height, I guess you could consider Jaylee "undersized". But she is very physical, tough-nosed, and she works hard. She is one of those inside-out type of forwards who already really produces at the high school level. She can play an "undersized" '4', she rebounds the ball at a high rate, and she can score it through contact at the rim. Jaylee also has the ability to put it on the floor and attack from the mid-post or the perimeter.

Leah has really shown a lot of growth in her game since I first saw her at a Fall showcase event. She has really nice length, wiry strength, and she's a good all-around athlete. She is a nice shooter with the ability to stretch the floor to 3-point range, but she can also be a problem for defenders in the mid-post. Leah can attack the basket and make an athletic move to finish, plus she pursues rebounds, and she can sit down and defend bigger guards, wings, and forwards.
