2026s: Heating Up Edition

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This summer marks the last travel season for the class of 2026.  These athletes have been making their names known for years, and it seems like colleges are blowing up their phones even more recently.  Their ability to perform on the court says it all, but here's me putting some words behind what they're able to do.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block finding the openings and making sure she is tracking the ball to get the right pass.  Speaking of the perimeter, she guards it well knowing when to jump in front of passing lanes or pick the pocket of her opponents.  Back to the offensive side, she scores three the old fashioned way keeping her focus on scoring the bucket and not letting contact get in her way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- been an asset on the court for both of her teams for years as she knows exactly how to step into the right role based on the personnel on the court.  She's been dominant on the block being able to grab boards and use her footwork to score some points.  She's been expanding the court as well knocking down shots from deep and attacking the basket from the top of the key.  She is aggressive on defense knowing how to protect the basket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block consistent on the court handling the ball and facilitating plays for her team.  She reads defenses well being able to make adjustments calling the right plays and finding the right options including setting herself up for her own shot from deep.  She attacks the basket well herself, too, finishing on both sides rolling the ball off her fingertips for two.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- continuing her dominance from the high school season into the spring.  Her length is great on both ends getting her hands in the way on defense and being able to shoot up and over her opponents.  Her knockdown shooting from deep is definitely fun to watch, and she adjusts well to her defenders knowing when she can blow by them driving to the basket.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!--
