Checking on Six players that are ranked in that 50-60 range. Oklahoma Girls Basketball is strong folks as several of these young ladies already have opportunities to play at the next level. I believe all players on this list will find basketball as a path to pay for their education. I except some of them will also move up when next rankings are released. Check them out and get to know this group.    Ava could be having the Stock Riser of this group. The 5'11 forward has great versatility that allows her to a big guard or small forward. One of those players that will a tough match for the opposing team. The ball handling and outside shooting would make it tough for a big post. The spin moves, drop step and other block work would be a mis match on smaller guards.   Great understanding of press rotations in the zone or man press. The size and length make her a tough defender on the next pass. Excellent rebounder as well with a potential double-double every night. I have seen this young lady play on the outside so they put a smaller defender on her and she goes to work in t the paint. A very physical player that will get in the mix if it means a bucket or stealing a possession. A player that excelled the bigger the game is. Scored over 20 multiple times against ranked teams this past school season. Marissa is that player you will find in the gym not matter what time of the day it is. She just wants to get better every time she touches the court. This is a young lady that will just flat get in your space on defense making the ball handler uncomfortable. Amazing young lady that is polite and excellent student in the classroom. A combo guard that can play the point if needed but is really effective on the wings where she can hit the 3 or take you to the rim.   Plays the game with a smile as if she is having fun but do not take that smile for grant as she is competing to win. I describe her as a player you need to watch more than once. After watching her play you will see what she can bring to a program. She just has that swagger in her game which is what you want at times in your point. Crafty ball handler that has a nice hesi hang cover over to get her going downhill. Good shooter with deep 3-point range that makes you play straight up on defense so no hanging back protecting just the drive. Good vision in the open floor and half court at times seeing cuts before they happen.   Scrappy defender that does not mind getting on the floor for a 50/50 ball. Always looking up the floor on a back court steal finding teammate running the floor. A strong academic student as well.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/2025/04/saturday-17u-notes-border-war-arkansas/">Saturday 17u Notes Border War (Arkansas)</a>     A very athletic small forward that can hurt with the 3-point shot if you lose her in the office. Really effective in a open offense that allows her to attack the rim using her athleticism to score at the rim. Great cutter off the ball making poor defenders with slashes and back cuts.   Tough defender that has quick hands and feet to apply that 94ft pressure. Creates turnovers with deflections and steals. Interest has picked up Dasia during the Spring Live Period. She also just announced that she will be playing next year at Weatherford.
