The past few weeks we have been trying to dive into AAU season as much as possible. From both a State and National perspective. In that dive, we have come across some players that have impressed with their coordinated ability in multiple categories of the game.

Here are a few of those prospects!

[player_tooltip player_id='884644' first='Myra' last='Hansen'] is coming off of a weekend to remember in Minnesota with her NE Supreme program. Hansen, a 5'11 CG, was listed as a top performer throughout the weekend and someone who made one of three Top Tournament Team's for her age level. Hansen is coming off of a respectable Freshman season, winning a State Title with her Pender program. Since she has kept that momentum rolling from the Championship and it's led her right into a successful AAU season so far. Hansen has great reach, quick feet, a smart head on her shoulders, and she happens to be the right place at the right time in key moments. All of those things lead her to success when she competes. That was obvious this weekend and will continue to be obvious moving forward.

The offers are really starting to stack up for [player_tooltip player_id='867471' first='Ashleigh' last='Amble'] of Clear Lake High School and [program_tooltip program_id='712617' first='Lady' last='Pure Prep'] 17U AAU. Amble seems to be receiving a different offer every other week during this time of the year because of her mixture of size, coordination, touch, and production with her AAU squad on the road. If you aren't aware, Amble is the tallest prospect that the state of Iowa has to offer at the high school level currently 6'5. Moving forward, the offers will continue to come until Amble commits. You don't see players this tall very often so everyone is extremely interested in who Amble might be able to become somewhere down the line.

If Nakia Ollivierre wasn't committed to Army already, she would be piling up the offers because of her consistent and fierce play-style this Spring season. Ollivierre has elite athletic ability, she can work on and off the ball, she does the little things like rebounds well on both sides of the court, and she creates a lot of pressure with her ability to stay with her opponent in the open floor. In all of the games she has played in this Spring, she has been a primary leader for her crew. If she continues to work like this, she is someone that we will continue to hear about until she ends up graduating in a year from now.

We don't cover too many prospects in the middle school age groups so when we do, you know they are legitimate. Someone out of the 2030 Class, who I've been extremely impressed with so far in her career is [player_tooltip player_id='1226648' first='Leona' last='Buller'] of OSA. Buller is a 5'7 guard, who can play between the 1 and the 2. She seems to thrive with the ball in her hands, bringing it down the floor and running her team's action but that doesn't mean she isn't versatile enough to move over to contribute from the SG position. Buller has a ton of upside with a bright future in this game. As long as she stays hungry, she is going to end up being a collegiate player before you know it.

We have seen [player_tooltip player_id='1221192' first='Tianah' last='Howell'] on and off this AAU season but every time we do see her, she is competing with a chip on her shoulder and an aggressive-style of play. Howell is the definition of scrappy. Someone that wants to get in your face and create a lot of havoc, making you break down, giving her the ball in one way or another. Offensively, she is a solid passer, a better than average dribble, a respectable creator, and a willing distributor. When you see Howell compete, there is never a lack of effort. She is always leaving it all on the floor and that's something everyone wants to coach from an outsider perspective.
