It’s hard to say that Buller is raising her recruitment stock without having played a game of Varsity Basketball yet but it would be foolish to think that she isn’t going to be someone to know out of the 2030 Class in Nebraska this Winter. Buller has been a name we have heard for years now throughout the Midwest because of her mental aptitude, the way she carries herself, and the natural skill she competes with as a scorer/defender. This is someone that was highlight by a number of different companies for putting on some stellar performances the last few days and this is only the tip of the iceberg to what Buller is going to turn out to be. Elkhorn South runs a complicated system in some regards but it’s really highlights the players that are mentally strong and that’s Buller, so I’m excited to see where she will end up following these next four years.

Sometimes when prospects are towards the end of their journey in the middle school rankings, you can see their promise shine through. You see it in the live action, in practice, and in their every day habits. Someone that is going to be pretty skilled by the time she gets to high school is Leona Buller Leona Buller 5'8" | PG/SG Elkhorn South | 2030 NE of Elkhorn South. Buller is going to be a very good player if she sticks with it. She is already smart, crafty, athletic, and her understanding of situations within the game of Basketball itself is impressive for her age level. She can hurt you as her team’s PG or she can move to compete at the 2 or 3 spot, depending on what her coaches are asking of her in that moment. Either way, wherever she is – she produces already and it’s something to pay attention to moving forward.

We don’t cover too many prospects in the middle school age groups so when we do, you know they are legitimate. Someone out of the 2030 Class, who I’ve been extremely impressed with so far in her career is Leona Buller Leona Buller 5'8" | PG/SG Elkhorn South | 2030 NE of OSA. Buller is a 5’7 guard, who can play between the 1 and the 2. She seems to thrive with the ball in her hands, bringing it down the floor and running her team’s action but that doesn’t mean she isn’t versatile enough to move over to contribute from the SG position. Buller has a ton of upside with a bright future in this game. As long as she stays hungry, she is going to end up being a collegiate player before you know it.
