Select Events put together a Baltimore event in early May that drew teams from across the state and several bordering states. There was some high-level talent in the gym at Park School, and here are some of the top shooters I saw fill it up.

Chloe was in rare form in the games I watched. She is one of the most dangerous shooters in the DMV and when she gets on a roll, she's fun to watch. Her specialty is catch and shoot bombs, but she was pretty solid off the dribble as well in this event. Any college program looking for a shooter should start with her.

[player_tooltip player_id='986103' first='Kelsey' last='Wimmer'], [program_tooltip program_id='714370' first='Germantown' last='Lady Panthers'], 2028, Shooting Guard

Kelsey was on a heater in the game I watched. She has long range and a quick release, but the most impressive thing about her game is the constant movement without the ball to get open. She kept defenders off balance with her constant motion, and she used her screens effectively. Any lazy defenders that got caught going under picks got punished. She showed off a good handle and also made some nice driving layups to mix things up.

[player_tooltip player_id='691978' first='Adey' last='Alexander'], Power Move, 2026, Shooting Guard

Adey specializes in catch and shoot jumpers and that's where she is most dangerous. Her range is deep, but she mixed in enough mid-range stuff to keep defenses honest. She is also improving on her off the bounce shots from beyond the arc, and has been pulling up and launching with confidence.

Alexandria Vandiver, [program_tooltip program_id='714370' first='Germantown' last='Lady Panthers'], 2026, Wing

Another deadly sniper that doesn't need a lot of room to get her shot off. She has a nice feathery touch from behind the 3-point line, but what I love about her is that she doesn't fall in love with the three. She is money from the short corners and foul line extended as well. It's always fun to watch her work.

[player_tooltip player_id='433964' first='Brooklyn' last='Stewart'], MD23, 2027, Guard

Brooklyn is a gym rat that brings a ton of energy to the game. Her best shot is the corner three-ball from either side of the court. She's tough in transition as well as she uses her good footwork to create space and quality shot attempts.
