As of today, the Spring "live" periods for 2025 are now complete. "The Classic" event in Louisville, Kentucky, this past weekend was beneficial to spend a lot of attention on a variety of teams/programs who were in attendance. Below is a look at another half dozen prospects I saw Sunday who I thought stood out for one reason or another in the games I was able to see.

[player_tooltip player_id='928917' first='Jayonna' last='Flotow'], 2026, 6-1 C, Fort Wayne North Side H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] Grind 17U
- Jayonna looks significantly different from a year ago. She is noticeably stronger, more confident, and therefore more aggressive, especially offensively. While she still needs work on her post moves and mid-range jumper, she is playing much more instinctually and reading the defense. As a rim protector, she is doing a nice job of coming across the lane from "help" side, recognizing when her teammates need her, and erasing/altering opponents' shot attempts. She has a lot of potential to improve too.

[player_tooltip player_id='492323' first='Kamri' last='Rowland'], 2026, 5-8 G/W, Rensselaer Central H.S., Havoc Basketball Gold 17U
- Kamri is one of those skilled, disciplined, hard-working ballplayers you plug into a lineup just about anywhere you want, and she helps you win. She is strong, fairly athletic in most directions, and she possesses a versatile skillset. She can handle it in transition and initiate the offense, she can play off the ball and use screens to get shots, plus she's a strong North/South driver who can absorb contact and finish inside. Additionally, she rebounds well and is able to defend multiple types of players.

[player_tooltip player_id='486477' first='Hannah' last='Stepp'], 2026, 6-0 F, North Central H.S. (Farmersburg), [program_tooltip program_id='712574' first='Indy' last='Magic']-Scott 17U
- Hannah is an intriguing inside-out type of forward who can bring a combination of size and skill to the lineup. She has nice length, she's a fairly fluid athlete, and she has gotten stronger and more physical in the last year. At the same time, she has a good face-up game and can knock down jumpers to the 3-point line or put it on the floor and attack the basket from the mid-post. Defensively, she is still probably best defending '4s' and undersized '5s', but she does a nice job of protecting the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='751125' first='Taylor' last='Mack'], 2027, 5-10 W/F, Eastside H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] All In 16U
- Taylor is really starting to make a name for herself. I first saw her last Fall at a Prep Girls Hoops showcase, then she followed that up with a strong Winter. Now, she is playing explosively in grassroots ball, showing off a versatile and aggressive game. She has a nice perimeter stroke, she can attack the basket, and she is good finishing around the rim and drawing contacting. Defensively, she can take on some bigger guards, wings, and undersized forwards, and I feel like she's only going to continue improving.

[player_tooltip player_id='834965' first='Carlee' last='Schrader'], 2027, 5-9 G/W, Northview H.S., Havoc Basketball Gold 16U
- I have seen Carlee on film, but this was my first time seeing her in-person. She is an interesting wing prospect who I think is still a little under the radar. She has an athletic frame, nice length, wiry strength, and she moves well in most directions. She can handle the ball and act as sort of a point forward in transition, even initiate the offense from time to time, or she can play off the ball as a shooter/scorer. Additionally, she is a versatile defender who can guard multiple positions, plus she rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='878873' first='Ashley' last='Stegemoller'], 2027, 5-11 F, Bloomington H.S. North, IBC-Tallent 16U
- I have seen Ashley a few times in different environments, and I thought she played pretty well Sunday. She is extremely long, wiry, but fluidly athletic. She has a really nice mid-post game where she can attack from 15-feet or knock down the jumper, and she is willing to play physical in the paint. She is starting to stretch her game to the perimeter, and she's handling the ball more as well. I think she could eventually become a wing, but she also might still grow another inch or two.
