As long as [player_tooltip player_id='1117950' first='Claire' last='Emerson'] does her due-dilligence of picking out a college that fits her style and where she will actually get to see the floor, she should produce at some impressive levels. Emerson moves really well for her size at 5'10. I would put her as a SG generally but she can really do anything that might be asked of her by her coaching staff. She is usually a mismatch nightmare right now with who she has to compete against on the high school floor. That will also change a little bit as she gets older but for someone going into their sophomore season, this is a name that I would definitely know out of the 2028 Class moving into this season as she sits right outside the Top 15 at #16.

This is going to be an impactful year for [player_tooltip player_id='752947' first='Liv' last='Schieber'] on the hardwood. Schieber is highly regarded as one of the best defenders out of the 2028 Class at the guard position and she is also extremely skilled offensively, being able to produce with having the ball for a limited amount of time or dribbles. She doesn't have to have a lot of possession to really make a difference and college coaches LOVE to see that. If Schieber does her thing coming up her, she is going to continue to bring in collegiate interest. She is most definitely at the skill level at play college ball, she just needs to continue to grow as she gets older.

I already have Milford High School as a State Tournament participant this upcoming season with the roster that they are going to bring back. Milford doesn't just have one Top 25 2028 player, they have two. They have 6'4 Center - Shayla Rauetenberg and 5'6 PG/SG - [player_tooltip player_id='1044997' first='Abby' last='Crabtree']. Crabtree is a hooper. If you watch her compete for about five minutes, you know that she has a high understanding of the game and that she is very skilled for her age level. That was on full display last Winter as a freshman and I expect nothing less this time around. She should cook all Winter long. Now it's just about making it actually happen.

If you told me that [player_tooltip player_id='884645' first='Brynna' last='Renard'] was going to finish as a Top Five player in the 2028 Class, I would not debate it. Renard has that combination of size, strength, coordination, touch, and agile athletic ability to impact the game at every level. She moves so well that she would be more considered a CG at this time at 6'1, compared to a Small Forward. Anything can happen over these next three years of high school ball but I'm expecting some big numbers this season out of this one with Lincoln Northeast's new power duo in play. In this Update, Renard moves right out of the Top Five at #6 moving into July, which is a great spot to be in.
