Filomena is a smaller guard but an agile guard that is active on the defensive end, she was able to match up well versus the big guards of Seton. Good quickness and defensive awareness allow her to create turnovers and turn them into points. Showed that she is a good inside out player that can finish through contact with consistency for buckets. Looks like she is going to make a full time switch to Virginia Academy. For her first real chance against elite competition at DMV Live she did well. She did a nice job of playing through pressure and saw the floor to find openings within the defense. At 6'0 she is a physically imposing player on the floor. Was able to get down hill and was able to get to the free throw line a lot. Defended mostly on the perimeter and has the foot speed to keep up with smaller guards.
