Offensively, she has the confidence to shoot outside as she is good for a deep corner three per half while also willing to bang down low for offensive and defensive rebounds as she never takes a play off.

Laila had a huge bump up this summer and is set to make waves at St. Timothy’s. She has good height and moves well in the open court. She is comfortable facing up or with her back to the basket and it’s certain that she will be used a variety of ways in half court sets. She had a good run at the Family Reunion Showcase, I’m expecting it to continue through her high school SEASON.

Laila continues to be a stock riser as the summer winds down. Her versality makes her unstoppable at times. Laila’s smooth handle allows her to face up and attack slower posts players off the dribble. Her consistent mid range jump shot and length pose many issues for defenders. She has very good athleticism which allows her to rebound over the top of taller players. During the drill portion of the camp she showcased her ability to consistently knock the 3 ball as well.

Had a productive weekend, good size at 5’11 was able to face up and attack the rim. Showed that she is a good inside out player that can finish through contact with consistency for buckets. Laila had a 19 point a game scoring 15 of her team’s first half 20 points!

had a nice game for St. Timothy’s. Laila did a good job finishing at the rim, and she does well knocking down short jump shots. She has good length and does well defending players in the paint. Laila had 19 points and was very impressive in the second half of this game in a low-scoring game.
