[player_tooltip player_id='557354' first='Jenica' last='Lewis'] continues her reign as a Top 25 ranked player Nationally as she comes into this Update for the 2026 Class at #19. Lewis is having another fantastic AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 17U EYBL team. She is leading her team in several statistical parts of the game, while still being a leader in the aspects of communication and example. Lewis is in no rush to commit anywhere until after the next Live Period in July at Nike Nationals. Then I'm sure she will lock into where she might want to be at following her high school career.

For the first time in this 2026 Update, [player_tooltip player_id='509225' first='Averie' last='Lower'] of CCA and North Tartan 17U EYBL finds herself within the Top 70 at #69 this time around. Lower has been considered the best long distance shooter out of Iowa for a few years now and she has seemingly added to her game over the past year. She had to do a little bit more this past season on the Varsity floor and that helped her gain confidence. Following that Lower joined up with North Tartan, putting together a memorable Spring and that's helped her receive a few more D1 offers. I'm going to see Lower and company this next week at their team camp. I'm excited to see what they can put together with a new coaching staff.

The honest truth is that [player_tooltip player_id='502100' first='Macy' last='Comito'] is not seeing the floor a ton right now during the AAU season but that makes sense if you take a look at their roster. It's full of nationally ranked killers on the hardwood. Nevertheless, I have a feeling that Comito is going to come out on fire this high school season. She is going to want to produce at high rates per usual and I think she will succeed in that endeavor. Comito comes into this ESPNW Update inside the Top 90. It's also her first time getting National love so no matter the rank, this is a big deal!

It's not how you start, it's how you finish. [player_tooltip player_id='643486' first='Jhaliana' last='Guy'] is going to finish on top. Where at exactly? That's TBD but with the first set of ESPNW 2028 Ranking Guy kicks off at #19. With only the Top 25 listed, #19 is a nice spot to be in. Guy is coming off of a hard-fought USA Mini Camp in Colorado Spring these past few weeks and she is already back in the gym working on her craft on the nightly. There is always room to grow. Guy is a student of the game and a quick learner. She is only going to get better with experience and I can't wait to see how that unfolds.
