When it comes to putting the ball in the basket, few freshmen in the state of Kansas have done it better than [player_tooltip player_id='898167' first='Braelyn' last='Blackwill']. A breakout performer in her debut high school season, Blackwill has quickly proven herself to be one of the premier scorers in Class 1A—and a name to watch in the coming years. Averaging 15.0 points per game across 25 contests, Blackwill's production has been nothing short of elite. For a freshman, those numbers are rare. For a player on a small-school roster in a loaded Western Kansas landscape, they're game-changing. Her shot-making ability spans all three levels. Blackwill is confident attacking off the dribble, isn't afraid to pull up from midrange, and finishes well through contact at the rim. Her footwork, body control, and ability to read the defense allow her to score even when defenses are keyed in on stopping her.

Brynlee has made her presence felt on the basketball court. In her freshman campaign, Brynlee quickly became one of the team's sharpshooters and offensive threats, averaging 10.9 points per game throughout the 2024–25 season. Brynlee's outside shooting can be a key part of any team's offensive success. Whether she is spotting up in the corner or shooting a pull-up jumper off of transition, she consistently stretches defenses and creates space for her teammates. Her ability to knock down shots also allows her team to establish a more balanced inside-out game.

Weiser's offensive game is built on versatility. She can score off the dribble, knock down mid-range jumpers, and convert second-chance points off the glass—thanks in part to her impressive 8.6 rebounds per game. Her ability to contribute inside and out gives her team flexibility in their offensive approach. As she enters her upperclassman years, Weiser is a player to watch—not only for her continued scoring development but also for her leadership potential. With continued growth, she could emerge as one of the top offensive players in Western Kansas Class 2A basketball.

Bri Torres is quickly emerging as a skilled scorer and becoming a consistent offensive threat. Torres led her team last season with 12.2 points per game. She showcases strong court awareness and defensive activity—traits that often lead to easy baskets in transition. The offensive flow visibly improves when Torres is in rhythm; she can ignite momentum with timely buckets and hustle plays.

Marshall's scoring versatility is one of her strongest assets. She's shown the ability to score off the bounce, attack the rim aggressively, and stretch the floor with perimeter shooting—registering a solid 32% from beyond the arc, a team-best percentage in that category. It isn't just her perimiter shooting that leads to points. Marshall is very versatile and has the ability to put the ball on the floor and score, whether she is attacking the basket or pulling up for a shot. Marshall is poised to become a top scorer in the coming years.
