Reese was one of the most dominant forwards at Northwood Team Camp. She caught a pass on the elbow, drove past a defender, then finished with an emphatic and-one layup. Reese denied entry passes to cutters and picked off passes for steals. She made an impressive contested catch and finished with a powerful reverse off two feet. Reese closed out hard to block a shot, caught passes with soft hands, and scored many bunnies at the rim off two feet. She dropped in a floater through hard contact at the rim straight through the net. Reese stepped outside to hit a three-pointer and will be an exciting prospect to watch with Orchard Lake St. Mary's this winter.

Laney will be on watch for a breakout season with Orchard Lake St. Mary's this winter. She gives the squad versatility and length at the guard spot. Laney has a smooth stroke from beyond the arc; she dropped threes in the bucket at Northwood Team Camp. Laney made smart cuts to the basket and finished layups off two feet. She made confident skip passes to open teammates with both hands and grabbed steals on the defensive end. Laney got by her defender with a quick dribble and kissed a floater off the glass over the help defender.

Lyza is a point guard from Mason who stood out at Northwood Team Camp. She was active in the passing lanes and disrupted the opponent's transition offense with her anticipation. Lyza defended the ball with all-out pressure and did something you don't see much at the high school level--communicated with teammates on offense. She called out her teammates by name to make sure they knew the pass was coming their way. Lyza drove down the baseline with a burst to score a reverse layup and picked up a loose ball to score a layup with her left hand. She pushed the ball swiftly in transition, changed directions with shifty crossovers, and used a sweet high pick-up move to avoid a defender.

Aubrey was a difference maker at Northwood Team Camp last summer and this year was no different. She surveyed the court in transition, used effective pocket dribbles, and penetrated the gap with a hard drive to earn a trip to the free throw line. Aubrey split the gap again to score a strong left-handed and one layup. She looked to make extra passes on her drive as defenders committed to her dribble. Aubrey was relentless on defense, creating many steals and deflections. She anticipated a spin move, poked the ball away, secured the turnover, and kept the ball protected with strong rips. Aubrey drained a wing three and was the most aggressive competitor for Beal City in their game.

Zoe has the potential to be a sought-after college prospect. She has height, length, and mobility that pop out on the court. Zoe runs the floor well and scored a transition layup off two feet. She stepped outside to swish a corner three and wasn't afraid to pull it from the perimeter. Zoe was a force on the offensive glass. She beat a box-out during a free throw to secure the rebound and finished with her left hand off two feet. Zoe grabbed another offensive board and scored an athletic reverse layup. She had a memorable first day for Mason at Northwood Team Camp.
