The last thing I'd like to do regarding the 2027 class is highlight some players to watch over the next 12 months. I believe this class has improved as a whole over the last few seasons, and there may be a few players who take another step in their junior seasons for one reason or another. In between now and the update for the 2028 class, we'll highlight some aspects of the AAU season that's just gone by.

I was impressed with some of the little things Dotson did last season at Grafton, and she continued those things in the AAU season. She sees the floor well as an off-ball guard and has been a shooter that defenses have to respect. No matter where she is on the offensive end, she could be a threat. I also loved the effort she puts in on the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='764290' first='Gretchen' last='Whitten']

The Hudson forward could find herself playing a significant role in the Raiders' frontcourt. Whitten is a player who can use her physicality to play around the basket and play through contact. However, she does have enough of a jumper to step out and make some shots on the perimeter. She played behind some talented kids and played prominent minutes after injuries struck, but she's ready to contribute at a higher level this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220819' first='Sydney' last='Grady']

The Milton guard is a hard-nosed player who will make an impact on the defensive end of the floor. You won't see people fly around like her and make extra-effort plays when there's only a minuscule chance they can make a play on the ball. Her effort jumps out to anyone who watches her play on either end of the floor. Grady is also a player whom coaches will have trust in to handle the ball on the offensive end of the floor. She'll take care of the ball and create open looks for others.

[player_tooltip player_id='892088' first='Lucy' last='Norville']

Norville is a player who I thought could've played more last season. In the limited games I watched her play last season, I thought she was impactful in the minutes she played. In a game where she didn't score at Oostburg, Norville made a significant impact on the game. You won't find many players who can make plays on both ends of the game and be content not scoring. She possesses the size, length, and mobility that will allow her to excel in these next few seasons.
