We end the summer with some team rankings and it seems like the favorite will be the defending champions heading into the school year and Fall Ball.

#1 Lone Peak

Lone Peak has a very deep team and they have a lot of talent top to bottom. Let's start with two incoming freshman that have already been leaving their mark. [player_tooltip player_id='952625' first='Peyton' last='Warner'] is a solid lead guard but her shooting allows her to be off the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='873278' first='Jordan' last='Moeaki'], They way she has played she might be on the verge of starting. She has a lot of poise in her play and she is already a three-level scorer. A few other younger players that have been playing very well are Madalyn Pope. Pope has been shooting the very well and that helps her out as she can move from the 4 to the 3 to the 2. [player_tooltip player_id='875181' first='Huni' last='Folau'] is another young player that has been getting after it and her on ball defense is ferocious. [player_tooltip player_id='796745' first='Kennedy' last='Woolston'] has been playing very well and also playing some of the best efficient basketball right now and will cary that into the season. A few players to keep in mind are [player_tooltip player_id='849040' first='Lave' last='Holdcraft'], [player_tooltip player_id='796473' first='Zuri' last='Nordstrom'] and [player_tooltip player_id='873282' first='Charli' last='Warner'].

#2 Westlake

Westlake will not sneak up on anyone this coming season. They have a plethora of guards that can score from all over. They have been getting some really good play from [player_tooltip player_id='796479' first='Avery' last='Thompson'], Thompson has been slashing to the basket like crazy and she has also improved her outside shooting. [player_tooltip player_id='861992' first='Ella' last='Seymore'] has a chance to really turn things up inher development as she has all the tools to be an impact player and turn a lot of heads. [player_tooltip player_id='829862' first='Isley' last='Sauvao'] could be a game changer as she brings a lot of intensity to the floor with fierce rebounding. [player_tooltip player_id='1248783' first='Keira' last='Hester'] and [player_tooltip player_id='796486' first='Mia' last='Foster'] have been shooting the ball well. They will be a problem out on the wings.

#3 Cedar Valley

Last season Cedar Valley had a solid year but they look to improve and also move up in 6A. They have a handful of players that have been playing well and are ready to take on anyone. It would not be surprising to have 4 players on this team average 10 PPG or more. [player_tooltip player_id='796818' first='Ellie' last='Larson'] lead the way last year in scoring and she is good around the rim and in the midrange area. [player_tooltip player_id='796815' first='Hadley' last='Whiting'] is another player with some size that can be impactful inside and out. [player_tooltip player_id='935878' first='Daisy' last='Thayne'] and [player_tooltip player_id='827410' first='Savannah' last='Klodt'] have also been laying well and look to bring it again this coming season and they have all looked sharp as a unit.

#4 Copper Hills

Copper Hills lost a lot of players from last seaosn but they have shown that there is talent left at CHHS. One player that has shown massive improvement has been [player_tooltip player_id='922382' first='Ella' last='Creer'], her height, her shooting and presence inside could help this team a lot. They also have some size that they can turn to in [player_tooltip player_id='952652' first='Riley' last='Greenwood'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1248994' first='Makayla' last='Staker']. These two can provide a lot of help inside. The player that could be a major game changer for this particular team is [player_tooltip player_id='1206007' first='Abby' last='Bush'], with her shooting ability she could open things up for everyone.

#5 Syracuse

Syracuse will rely on [player_tooltip player_id='796823' first='Maylee' last='Anderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='903189' first='Rachel' last='McBride'] this coming season. This two punch duo is a duo that could go off in many ways. Anderson is one of the best shooters in teh state and McBride is a player that is under the radar but has a lot of potential.

We end the summer with some team rankings and it seems like the favorite will be the defending champions heading into the school year and Fall Ball.
