I'm making the five-hour drive north to Chicago from the Cincinnati area in a few hours. However, before I traverse the entirety of Indiana, I'd like to highlight a few players for college coaches to watch during the final live period of the grassroots season. It's been an intriguing one from start to finish, but let's round it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='533086' first='Kylie' last='Pieper']

The Pewaukee native is an intriguing guard who can contribute on both ends of the floor. Pieper's defense is what earned her a prominent role early in her high school career and helped her compete in UAA basketball. I've liked what she's done on the defensive end in her time on the floor, but there's more that she can offer on the offensive end, depending on what role she's asked to play in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='842243' first='Hanna' last='Bultman']

The last 12 months have been Bultman's. The Milwaukee native produced at the high school level with St. Thomas More and played well with her Playground Elite this spring and summer. She is a double-double threat whenever she steps on the floor and has a knack for putting the ball in the basket on the offensive end. I thought she was the most improved player in the state last season, and she's carried that momentum into the AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='743735' first='Kourtlyn' last='Guy']

The Milwaukee native has always had a solid Basketball IQ. She sees the game well and can play a step ahead of opposing teams by playing passing lanes and being in the right spot as a help-side defender. Guy has always been a player with the tools to thrive on the defensive end. However, she's shown plenty of growth on the offensive end of the floor. She's become a more consistent scorer on that end of the floor, and she looks more confident than she's been in her first few seasons of high school basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id='874380' first='Olivia' last='Williams']

The Bay Port guard improved each season she's played at the high school and AAU level. She could get to the basket and finish in traffic. She doesn't have much flash to what she does, but she can still turn the corner on most kids lined up in front of her. Williams has also improved as a perimeter shooter and become a reliable spot shooter who can space the floor with elite talent around her, and still be a valuable part of what her team wants to do on the offensive end.
