One of my favorite stops of the summer circuit is the University of Delaware's Elite Camp. They have an excellent staff, and they always attract a bunch of ballers. They have an enthusiastic crew that puts the campers through some warmup drills followed by some intense three on three and then some high-level scrimmages. This year almost 100 campers showed up to show off their skills. The campers received excellent instruction, advice and wisdom from the current UD players and their coaches. Here are some of the players I came away impressed with.

Tamia Clark, Upper Dublin (PA), 2027, Guard

Tamia did most of her damage around the basket, doing good off the ball work with cuts and movement. She grabbed a couple of offensive rebounds and made some putbacks as well. Later in the day she showed incredible range with some long threes.

London Lee, Thomas Johnson High, 2027, Guard

London was recognized as one of the top two defenders at the camp. A small, speedy guard, she was just shutting ball handlers down at the point of attack. Her footwork and swarming style were really frustrating to deal with and she kept the pressure on all day.

[player_tooltip player_id='946902' first='Dahlia' last='Debourou'], Bullis, [program_tooltip program_id='815866' first='Team' last='Durant'], 2028, Guard

Dahlia was also recognized as one of the top defenders at the camp. She was relentless and she showed off her strong motor all day. She is a good ball handler and has a quirky but deadly left-hand jumper. She is a very exciting player to watch as she is always around the ball and is very dangerous in the open court.

[player_tooltip player_id='785460' first='Cayenne' last='Pigeon'], [program_tooltip program_id='750645' first='Team' last='Melo'], 2027, Guard

This was another good showing for Cayenne after a strong summer. She's a long and versatile scorer and she has taken her defense up another notch. I like the improved shot selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='1121153' first='Layla' last='Woodward'], North Point, 2026, Guard

Layla did some good work on the day. She was really strong finishing at the rim with some nifty footwork and up and under combos. Her on ball defense was strong, and she played with a bit of an edge, mixing it up in the paint and on the boards.
