Another top rated recruit from the great state of Iowa has committed to the D1 level to keep the Basketball journey alive and that recruit is Forward - [player_tooltip player_id='777226' first='Maryn' last='Franken']. Franken is a prospect who has shown promise over the years at a high level on both the high school floor and on the AAU hardwood as well. She is someone who can kill it offensively, while being a seasoned stopper on the other end. She has a nice mixture of coordination and athletic ability that really helps her thrive. At the D1 level, I see Franken as a 3/4, depending on her team's system. She is decently versatile as a prospect so I'm sure she will find her fit sooner, rather than later.

Bella Lucero-Miner received an offer yesterday to compete at NAIA - Grand View out of Des Moines Iowa following her Senior season at Millard South this upcoming Winter. Lucero-Miner has a picture perfect shot form, she works just as hard off of the ball as when she has possession of it, and she is sound defensively. She isn't someone who will kill you with flash but more-so, fundamentals at the end of the day. Looking forward this could be a convincing role-player for a program like Grand View. If she continues to work hard moving into this Winter, she is going to produce over the next 8 months before she takes her game to the next level.

It's not a surprise that [player_tooltip player_id='757575' first='Akazja' last='Foster'] of Omaha North is receiving interest from the next level after the AAU season she just put together with her NE Supreme program. Foster was a leader at the PG position all Spring/Summer long. She rarely made bad mental mistakes, while always being a vital piece to her team's system. Offensively, She demonstrated that she can either create and facilitate for other around her at a high rate or she can create for herself to finish the play. Defensively, quick hands and fast feet. A mixture that helps her dominate her competition more time than not. At the end of the day, Foster could produce and make everyone better at the collegiate level. It'll be all about the chances she received before she ends up making her decision over the next few months. As of most recently, Foster grabbed an offer from Central Community College. This might be one of her first offers but I don't think it'll be her last.

Everyone is really curious where [player_tooltip player_id='756006' first='Ani' last='Leu'] is going to end up for her near future. Leu hold a handful of D-1 offers at this time, grabbing another from SIUE out of Edwardsville, Illinois. SIUE is a program that competes out of the Ohio Valley Conference. Leu has the potential to continue to grow in her game. She is a 6'0 CG, that has a lot of skill paired along with her size. Once she figures out how important her change of speed can be to her over-all game, who knows how far she could take things on this journey. Her size alone helps her kill most of her competition. Now it's all about building onto that moving into the Fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='884656' first='Macie' last='Reiner'] received her best collegiate offer to date yesterday when the Houston Cougars offered the CG a spot on their future roster. Reiner was a Varsity prospect this past season for her Bennington team, making a difference in multiple facets of the game. She followed that up by putting together a nice campaign on the UAA Circuit, eventually drawing a lot of attention from the next level. I am very curious to see how Reiner works off of this offer. She looks like she does different things well during the high school season compared to the AAU season, so it'll be interesting to see if she can combined those two things. If so, watch out because this won't be her only D-1 offer.
