Bella Lucero-Miner received an offer yesterday to compete at NAIA – Grand View out of Des Moines Iowa following her Senior season at Millard South this upcoming Winter. Lucero-Miner has a picture perfect shot form, she works just as hard off of the ball as when she has possession of it, and she is sound defensively. She isn’t someone who will kill you with flash but more-so, fundamentals at the end of the day. Looking forward this could be a convincing role-player for a program like Grand View. If she continues to work hard moving into this Winter, she is going to produce over the next 8 months before she takes her game to the next level.

Millard South is a school that produces a lot of solid prospects on the basketball court. They have talent at all age levels and they do a respectable job of showing that talent off. Someone from their 2026 Class, that has been a quality influence for them is Bella Lucero-Miner. Miner moves around at the guard position and primarily does her best when she is off of the basketball. It’s all situational as she can take her defender off the dribble at times but to start, she really kills it when she can play off of someone else’s creation. All in all, I’ll be keeping my eye on Lucero-Miner and the Millard South program these next six months. They should be in stored for impactful seasons together, as long as their interests aline.

Bella Lucero-Miner falls into the category of player in my opinion that is a “Swiss-army” knife-type. She does a lot of good things on the floor and she can be moved around, depending who else is on the court around her in that specific moment. Returning this season at Millard South and their group is going to have a year-to-remember if they do things correctly. They had a solid season as a whole last Winter and they return a lot of prospects that put in work this off-season, Miner being one of them.

Isabella Miner comes in at #37 in this 2026 Update as she competes with her Nebraska Attack program. Miner is a Combo Guard, that isn’t going to hurt you while she is out on the floor competing. Meaning that she is going to give you quality minutes on both sides of the ball and she won’t be a liability to the point where you would need to sub her out. I’m expecting her to take a big step this upcoming Winter season at Millard South. If she keeps it simple and plays off of what the defense is giving her, she should put up respectable numbers for her Junior season.

from Millard South High School. Lucero-Miner is coming off of a high school season where she showed off what she could really do in some contests. She was dominant on the offensive end, while being someone that her team could trust in to get a stop on defense against some really skilled opponents. She has a solid shot from deep, even though it may not look like it so much from a fundamental stand point, as it usually seems to go in if she has an open look. She is always one of first to be on the floor for a loose ball or she will be diving into the stands with any chance she gets. This next 6-8 months is really important in her recruitment process but I think she could find a home at the end of the day. I know of a coach or three that would definitely try to recruit her if they see the right things these next few months. She just needs to stay locked in at this point.
