This summer was filled with great performances, and some of the most impressive came from the youngest players on the court. These rising stars may still be early in their high school careers, but they play with the skill, maturity, and intensity of seasoned athletes. From sharp instincts to explosive speed and relentless work ethics, each of these players has already begun to make their mark. Here are just a few of the talented young prospects I had the privilege to watch, each with a bright future ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='883539' first='Chesney' last='Marshall'] is one of the top young hoopers I had the chance to watch this summer. Coming off an impressive freshman season for Oakley High School and suiting up this summer for WKE, she may be young, but she competes with the confidence and composure of a seasoned vet. Her outside shot is smooth and reliable, stretching defenses and creating space for her teammates. She isn't just an outside shooter she has speed and quickness, she can blow by defenders and attack the rim with ease. Whether spotting up from deep or driving the lane, She makes an impact every time she steps on the floor. Her future is bright, and she's just getting started.

[player_tooltip player_id='893821' first='Emma' last='Hill'] is another of the many young talents I had the opportunity to watch this summer, but she stood out in the games I watched. Playing for Magic and representing Holcomb High School, Hill plays with the maturity and instincts of a veteran. She has a great ability to read the game and make quick decisions, which sets her apart, especially for someone so early in her high school career. She has speed and quickness, she attacks the basket fearlessly, and puts constant pressure on the defense. Whether in transition or in the half-court, there is a natural feel for the game in the way she plays her, and an aggressive mindset makes her a difference-maker. Her future is undeniably bright.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220158' first='Tegan' last='Snodgrass'] may only be a freshman, but she plays with the poise, confidence, and skill of a seasoned upperclassman. Of all the 2029 prospects I had the chance to watch this summer, she might very well be the best. She brings a relentless work ethic and a locked-in mindset to every game, showing maturity well beyond her years. Her drive to improve is evident, and it's already paying off, she's earned an offer to play at the next level from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. With her combination of talent, mentality, and early recruitment attention, Snodgrass is a name you'll be hearing a lot more in the years to come.
