I'll have some different content to help bridge the gap between the AAU and high school seasons soon. Today, we're highlighting some players who could add an element to their program. The players I'll spotlight today are players who I believe could reach another level in their game and take a step forward this season.

The Brillion guard has been a productive member of the Lions' backcourt since she began her high school career. Brooks has been a player who could create off the dribble and generate open looks for herself in the paint or her teammates on the perimeter. Brooks can also play off the ball and space the floor, and be a reliable perimeter shooter who can be a versatile member of a backcourt. She should be among the top players in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference.

[player_tooltip player_id='889757' first='Brinna' last='Paulson']

Oshkosh North has been a program that's improved over the last few seasons. Paulson has been a key contributor over the past few seasons and could be a player who excels at the college level. Her shooting threat is a concern for teams who play the Spartans, and for good reason. She is a player who could knock down multiple three-pointers if defenses allow her space to catch and shoot on the perimeter. Any regional program looking for a player to space the floor for teams needing a legitimate perimeter threat should make time to see her.

[player_tooltip player_id='1226502' first='Emily' last='Sewell']

The Grafton guard has the athleticism that could help her make plays in a notoriously fast and guard-oriented North Shore Conference. Her ability to turn the corner on defenders will help her get downhill and attack defenses while rotating to keep her from scoring layups. However, that ability to drive could lead to her creating open looks for her teammates, particularly in the corners. The Black Hawks will be a team that's more than the sum of their parts, but Sewell could play a role in games that people may not expect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1242892' first='Emma' last='Sampson']

The Fall River wing/forward is a small-school kid with the skillset to help a program at the next level. Sampson is a solid athlete who utilizes her lateral quickness to stay in front of perimeter players and uses her length to contest shots around the basket. Sampson is a player who could slip through the cracks, but there is a chance she could be a valuable recruit at the next level.
