Six-foot guard/forward [player_tooltip player_id='1264922' first='Nuari' last='Filipe'] led FBC Oregon in scoring and rebounds this season. Filipe is a smooth mover with a strong frame and big presence inside. She is an efficient and dynamic scorer off the bounce and rebounds on both ends. Springfield's incoming freshman received her first college offer from UNLV in June.

Six-foot guard/forward [player_tooltip player_id='1246597' first='Flo' last='Borchardt'] is an exciting young hooper in the graduating class of 2030. Borchardt is dangerous in the open court and can get downhill fast for the athletic finish. She has great spatial awareness and makes effective cuts at the right time. The rising 8th-grader is working on her vertical and can already touch the rim. Borchardt received an offer from Stanford in June.

Five-foot-10 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1208220' first='Zoe' last='Sanders'] is a tremendous floor general who led FBC Oregon in assists and steals this season. Sanders has a high game IQ, takes care of the ball, and has excellent vision and passing. She can hit the catch-and-shoot three and has nice footwork in the paint to finish at the rim after the drive from the perimeter.

She's one to watch in her freshman season at Mountainside.

“The momentum we have for girls hoops in Oregon is really exciting,” said FBC Oregon 15U head coach Matt Sanders about the new alliance and the move to the shoe circuit. Sanders is also the head coach at Sherwood High School, a team that should be a contender for the Pacific Conference title this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1208220' first='Zoe' last='Sanders'] and Poulivaati, with FBC Oregon and NW Select, respectively, defeated the current 15U Power 24 champions, Jason Kidd Select (Calif.), in previous games at Select Events Basketball tournaments in May.

NW Select topped Jason Kidd in the 15U Pool A championship game 66-56 at the Battle in the Emerald City in Auburn, Wash (Jason Kidd eliminated NW Select in an elite eight matchup at the Power 24 in July). Earlier that same day, Jason Kidd defeated FBC Oregon 41-32. In a rematch exactly one week later at Live! In Las Vegas, FBC Oregon beat Jason Kidd 52-41.

In the win against Jason Kidd, Filipe led all scorers with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. [player_tooltip player_id='1208220' first='Zoe' last='Sanders'] added 12 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Borchardt (Class of 2030) tallied 10 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.

“Vegas was definitely a big one. Everyone contributed to that game, we really played team basketball,” said Coach Sanders. “We won some big games in Seattle, too.”

He was referring to two big wins his team picked up against Washington teams at the Battle in Emerald City. FBC Oregon defeated NW Greyhounds 15U 3SSB 42-40 and NW Blazers Futures 39-33.

Oregon's up-and-coming underclassmen ended their club season on a high note. At the End of the Trail Summer SoCal Showcase in Seal Beach, FBC Oregon went undefeated to win first place in the top pool of their age division.

A few weeks later, FBC Oregon's director was on a call with its Northwest Alliance and California chapters about joining forces to compete in the GUAA circuit.
