The Freshman Showcase has long been a key event on the Prep Girls Hoops calendar. For many rising stars, it serves as their first major showcase experience—and we're committed to making it one they won't forget. She finishes effectively around the basket with either hand and uses her size and strength to create space down low. Defensively, she's a reliable rim protector and a force on the boards, consistently battling for rebounds. We'd be excited to see her power and post play on display at the PGH Freshman Showcase.     Laila brings toughness and energy every time she steps on the floor, making her presence felt with her relentless effort in the paint. She's a tenacious rebounder, especially on the offensive end, where she fights for position and capitalizes on second-chance opportunities. Her physical style of play around the rim draws contact, and she isn't afraid to mix it up inside. With her grit and nonstop motor, Laila is the type of player we'd love to see at the PGH Freshman Showcase.     Stella is a poised and skilled guard who plays with great control and maturity beyond her years. She has a smooth, unselfish style and consistently makes the right reads, keeping her team organized and involved. Her vision in the open floor allows her to find teammates in stride, creating easy scoring chances with sharp, accurate passes. With her leadership and high basketball IQ, Stella is exactly the kind of player we'd love to see at the PGH Freshman Showcase.     Finley is a talented small forward who brings impact on both ends of the court. Coming from a strong program like Rockford—known for developing high-level talent—she carries that same toughness and skill. Finley plays with confidence, defends with purpose, and knows how to contribute in a variety of ways. We'd be excited to see her compete and showcase her game at the PGH Freshman Showcase.     Claire is a talented left-handed guard with a well-rounded skill set and a competitive mindset. She's a confident ball handler who plays with control, creates opportunities, and makes smart decisions with the ball in her hands. Claire also rebounds effectively from the guard position, using her instincts and hustle to make plays. With a smooth shooting stroke from the perimeter and the ability to knock down shots, she's definitely a player we'd love to see at the PGH Freshman Showcase.
