Gator For a Day Elite Camp Standouts-Part 2

In this article we look at more standouts at the Gator for a day Elite Camp. These players led the way in a swamp of prospects. All campers came to play and all showed a willingness to work and improve their craft. In this article, we continue to recognize a few of the players who stood out at the camp.    [player_tooltip player_id='708143' first='Kendall' last='Proffitt']'s (cover photo - right) combination of length, skill, and confidence made her one of the most intriguing prospects in the gym. Her shooting touch was elite, knocking down multiple threes throughout the day. The “it” factor is a good way to describe Proffitt. She exudes confidence in how she carries herself and delivers on the floor, especially in big moments. With her perimeter game, versatility and frame, she is a big time prospect.     Heinz was an absolute force inside, dominating the boards on both ends and controlling the paint. She feasted on offensive rebounds, giving her team multiple second-chance points. Physically bigger than most opponents and more athletic than expected, Heinz imposed her will with a combination of strength, positioning, and effort. The forward ran the floor very well and stood out in the transition game, too.     [player_tooltip player_id='400818' first='Kennedi' last='Tatum'] (cover photo- center) brought a fiery competitive edge to the camp. Tatum set the tone every time she stepped on the court. Her defensive tenacity, quickness, and athleticism stood out as she hounded ball-handlers and disrupted passing lanes. Offensively, she attacked the rim with purpose and had the handles to create in the open floor. In transition, her speed and creative finishes kept defenders backpedaling.     [player_tooltip player_id='400817' first='Londyn' last='Tatum']'s (cover photo - left) quickness and explosiveness were on full display throughout the camp. She was a constant threat on the break, pushing the pace and putting maximum pressure on defenders from baseline to baseline. Defensively, she matched her offensive intensity, applying pressure that created turnovers and led to scoring chances. Her blend of speed, athleticism, and competitiveness made her a tough matchup.     [player_tooltip player_id='646515' first='Zoey' last='Brown'] was the coach on the floor — poised, vocal, and in complete control. Her basketball IQ was evident in how she read situations and made decisions that put her teammates in a position to succeed. She advanced the ball with purpose, often turning defensive stops into quick scoring opportunities. Her anticipation and vision allowed her to exploit gaps in the defense before they could recover. Teammates love to play with Brown because of her team first approach and her leadership on the floor.     Randolph's defensive presence was suffocating at 5e camp. Her quick feet, elite lateral movement, and anticipation made it nearly impossible for opponents to get past her. She also excelled in transition, turning steals into easy layups.
