Put That On Repeat: 2A Edition

I am continuing to dive into the playoffs from last season in excitement for the upcoming high school season. The 2A state championship was fun to see stars shine, and there was only one star who graduated from either school. Here are the players that I am hoping can help their schools make another push.    [player_tooltip player_id='1219576' first='Clara' last='LaChapelle'] does well using her screen setting to create an opening for herself. She times her cuts perfectly letting her teammate roll off her screen before exploding to the basket with her arm up high ready for the pass. Her height is an asset grabbing rebounds on both ends, and she is sure to find ways to block shots with players trying to attack the basket. She has a good range of post moves knowing how to feel where her defender is to get some points off the backboard.     [player_tooltip player_id='573557' first='Shaniya' last='Paylor'] is quick with the ball in her hands getting up the court setting up offensive plays. She always keeps her eyes peeled knowing when she should take her own shot or find the open teammate by the basket. She does well getting downhill attacking the basket scoring herself, and she can show off her step back move hitting the jumper. Her quickness is effective on the defensive side of the ball jumping in the passing lanes taking over the possession.     [player_tooltip player_id='1230304' first='Rreanna' last='Johnson'] knows where to move on the court adjusting to how the defense is shifting to find the opening. She can knock down her shot from deep, and she doesn't back down from taking some tough drives to the hoop. Her jab step is effective getting some space for her buckets. She's aggressive on the other end of the court being able to explode closing out on defenders even blocking shots to protect the basket.     [player_tooltip player_id='690095' first='Shalyn' last='Bare'] has had a busy summer hearing from college coaches being able to perform in some big spotlights over the past year. She's versatile where she can be, especially around the paint drawing defenders away from the block catching the pass at the free throw line. She sees the floor well from there finding her open teammates flashing to the block or taking it herself. She's effective cleaning up the offensive glass using these to grab her some points, too.     [player_tooltip player_id='1222742' first='Meredith' last='Tomko'] will definitely be touching the ball most possessions for North Wilkes. She handles the ball well against pressure, and she can set herself up for some deep shots around the perimeter showing off her own range off the dribble or the pass. Her quick release doesn't allow time for defenders to try to get in the way. Her change of direction moves are sure to lose defenders on her way to the basket.
