The W League: Week 2 Lockdown Defenders

That is not the case in The W League.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Since the start of this league, I have continually said to myself, “I can't believe the amount of defense being played”. When the ball is in her hands, she doesn't force anything. Defensively, this week she gave up her body and took what I believe was the very first charge of the league. Dallas was on a mission this week offensively. She was not going to be denied getting to the basket. On the flip side, she was not allowing her opponent to get by her. She is very good at staying low, putting her nose on the ball and forcing players from side to side. Very high energy. She led the league this week with 12 rebounds. There was a possession where she was sandwiched between 2 players. Defensively, she doesn't allow players to go downhill. She is a smaller guard and has an advantage being lower to the floor. She has quick feet to match up with the quickness of opponents.
