With the PrepHoops Washington Freshman Showcase taking place last weekend in Auburn, we saw a lot of new faces showcase a little of what they can do on the court. Here we are starting with Team 3.

#6 - [player_tooltip player_id='1308480' first='Masyn' last='King'] - Tahoma HS - Masyn is an all-around player on the court, doing everything at a high level. One thing that stood out the most to me was her following her shot and attacking the boards evert single possession. She attacks with a purpose, being able to finish through contact with both hands. She is a natural leader and is poised for a great HS career.

#7 - [player_tooltip player_id='1308399' first='Savannah' last='Johnson'] - Bellevue HS - Savannah is joining a stacked Bellevue team who has an elite 2029 class. Johnson is a high IQ guard/wing who is strong with the ball in her hands. She has a lethal shot from deep, knocking down shots all day with a quick release. She is a great defender too, guarding multiple positions.

#8 - [player_tooltip player_id='1309957' first='Nakiah' last='Barrett'] - Bonney Lake HS - Nakiah was another well rounded player throughout the showcase. She did all the little things at a high level, rebounding well and boxing out consistently. Her offensive game is solid too, as she can finish in the paint as she absorbs contact well but she can also step out and knock down deep shots.

#9 - [player_tooltip player_id='1276156' first='Lauren' last='Ladd'] - C/O 2031 - Lauren was one of the youngest players at the showcase but stood out in many ways. She attacks off the dribble well, being able to break down defenders with her handles and finding open teammates on the perimeter. She plays the transition game smoothly, filling the correct lanes or finding the open player. She made quick decisions and most of them often being the right one to make a play.

#36 - [player_tooltip player_id='1310075' first='Londyn' last='Henderson'] - North Thurston - Londyn could make an immediate impact for North Thurston right away. She has a lethal deep shot, consistently hitting shots off the dribble or off the pass. She has great agility with quick feet on the court and attacks the defensive weak spots quickly.
