[player_tooltip player_id='865264' first='Nataliya' last='Linder'] is going to be looked upon to compete at a high rate this upcoming Winter with North Mahaska with the loss of their Varsity producer from years past. Linder comes to the court at 6'0, she is a constant on the glass on both sides of the ball with her natural height, and she pairs that with some better than average athletic ability and understanding of the game as a whole. This helps her record a bunch of points, blocks, and rebounds on a consistent basis. With the competition level that this team will face, Linder should average a double-double this Winter if she is motivated and used correctly. That goal is more than do-able.

[player_tooltip player_id='832208' first='Izzy' last='Gilbertson'] will be an all conference player once again this season for Mount Ayr. Gilbertson also falls into the situation that she won't play against the highest level on competition during her season but she can only control so much. No matter what, she is going to be the focal point of her team's system. She will be in-charge of scoring, distributing, and defending like her life depends on it in some contests. Gilbertson has put up productive numbers for two years now at this level so I'm thinking she will do the same once again for her Junior season over the next eight months.

We don't get to see [player_tooltip player_id='1222832' first='Emory' last='Lincecum'] play too often but when we do, she is always jumping off the page in one way or another. Lincecum competes as a SF/CG within the system's that she plays, while being a comfortable navigator when she is close to the basket. Offensively, she is nice enough to be able to work out of the mid-post, she can use her length near the bucket for simple finishes over smaller opponents, or she can work from beyond the three point line as well. All in all, when Central Lyon succeeds this season, I'm sure that Lincecum with have a crucial hand in that.

I know the interest is starting to stack for [player_tooltip player_id='832196' first='Graclyn' last='Eastman'] of Bishop Garrigan High School. Eastman is a true Forward that understands her strengths. She works really well communicating near the blocks, she does her work early down the floor during offensive possessions, she isn't afraid to use her physicality to her strength, and she is adaptable. She knows things change and in any given moment that she might be called to make things happen. This is a big Winter season ahead for the 2027 Class. If Eastman continues with the momentum she has already set in place, who knows where she might take things.

Emma Trusdell brings crafty-play, simple strategies, and a ton of heart to the court as a SF. I would even say that Truesdell is more of a CG at this point in her career with how versatile she is but she does see a lot of success near the hoop. She can also defend multiple positions at a pretty high rate. Doesn't matter if the matchup is bigger or smaller. Roland Story is going to return a few producers from year's past. They will be led by upperclassmen leadership with Truesdell included so I can't wait to see what they end up putting together.
