2027 Prospects Moving Up in the Top 25

The 2027 rankings list now features 202 ranked prospects and 327 total. At this point in the recruiting calendar, projected college potential is transitioning into actual college ability. The offers on the table are an indicator of where colleges have prospects ranked on their recruiting boards, and we believe that four-year colleges at every level are now recruiting the 2027 class. There are prospects whose offers do not represent our current evaluation of their abilities, and offers are not the ultimate measure we use to rank players. However, offers are a category in the evaluation criteria that we reflect upon during the rankings process.   The 2027 class is a bit of an enigma because we don't see the clear separation between prospects that we see in other age groups across the state. Many bubble prospects exemplify strengths in certain skills/athletic qualities that give them great potential, but may have areas of improvement that leave room for doubt. For those reasons, there could still be substantial shifts in future rankings ahead, depending on which NAIA/D3/JUCO projected prospects demonstrate growth, which could result in higher offers. She was a rankings riser in our previous update and just secured a place in the top ten. Dy'Nasti has multiple D1 offers and added another standout performance to her resume at Oakland Elite Camp. Her length, athleticism, and sniping ability from three-point range made her a guard-wing prospect with a high ceiling from the beginning of her high school career. Jozelynn has continued to fill out her frame and fine-tune her game. She's a prospect who performs at her best in the spotlight, with many top performer moments at showcases in front of our scouts and college coaches. The turning point where Jozelynn cemented herself as an undeniable D2 prospect was at GVSU Elite Camp. In a gym full of talent, Jozelynn separated herself as a defensive stopper, explosive downhill driver, aggressive rebounder, and efficient three-point shooter. Her defense, rebounding, dribble penetration, finishing, and facilitating consistently stands out. I watched Baylor compete at multiple elite camps alongside top talent and she kept stepping up. Baylor is clutch in big moments and she earned Northwood Team Camp MVP honors during the O.T. Tournament. She's a lethal three-point shooter with shifty ball-handling abilities that make her tough to stop from getting to the basket. Aubrey is an excellent passer and a disciplined defender. She has D2 offers from Michigan Tech and Lake Superior State. With her height and versatility as an interior/perimeter player, this offer feels right on the money. Calista keeps growing, filling out her frame, and demonstrating progress in her game. Karis is one of the best rebounding guards in this class. She has acrobatic finishing abilities and jumps out of the gym. Karis wreaks havoc on the defensive end, which shows up in steals and blocks. She makes the hustle plays and contributes in every statistical category. It became evident in August that Karis had clear potential as a D2 guard and I was excited to see her GVSU offer. She has consistently demonstrated the qualities a highly recruited point guard should have during travel and high school competition. Rihanna has silky smooth handles and glides to the basket with balance off the dribble. She sees the floor well, has a strong/compact build, and shoots with confidence from beyond the arc. She has excellent court vision and ball-handling control. Ly'Nique is a threat from three-point range, a scrappy defender, and makes smart reads without the ball. She's athletic, quick, and strong. Ly'Nique's effective two-way impact and prototypical point guard abilities will be exciting to watch at South Haven this winter.
