Flagler Camp was hyped and full of energy from start to finish. With the high school season right around the corner, this was one of the last opportunities for players to showcase their skills before the real games begin. The gym was buzzing with competition, excitement, and intensity as prospects battled in drills, 1-on-1 match-ups, and scrimmages.

[player_tooltip player_id='1320320' first='Jermani' last='Govan'] was the most dominant player on the floor. She converted consistently in the paint and established herself as an unstoppable interior presence. There wasn't a player in the building who could match her combination of size, strength, and willpower on the blocks.

Where Govan wanted to go, she went — sealing defenders carving and finishing with authority. She showed soft touch around the rim and proved she could score from either block. Beyond power, Govan displayed good footwork, creating shot opportunities with pivots and drop steps, and finishing through contact. Govan's performance set the tone for the day and stamped her as one of the clear standouts of the camp.

Bowman played well and firmly established herself as one of the top shooters in the entire gym. Her smooth shooting stroke immediately caught the attention of the coaching staff, and she consistently knocked down jumpers throughout the session. What makes Bowman special is her ability to set up defenders, create space, and rise up with confidence. The step-back and pull-up three from the top of the key was her signature shot at the camp. While she can also attack the rim when the defense closes out too hard, Bowman was clearly at her best from the perimeter, and coaches were paying attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249017' first='Angelina' last='Laudicina'] brought the crowd to its feet with one of the most memorable threes of the camp — a behind-the-back dribble into a step-back three that drew oohs and ahhs in the gym. Her shot-making ability and three-point accuracy are advanced for her age and she shows no signs of fading.

Laudicina isn't just a perimeter shooter - she can put the ball on the floor, drive to the rim, and create opportunities off the bounce. Her basketball IQ stands out for such a young guard, making her one of the names to know early from the 2029 class. She represented the class well at the Flagler Camp ID and walked away with recognition from the college coaches in the building.

[player_tooltip player_id='514544' first='Narissa' last='Blocton'] must love the Flagler campus as she has made the gym a place where her best comes out. The Senior guard played well and really blended well with some of the players on her team. Blocton was one of the best at pushing the pace and scoring in transition. Her defense on the ball was good as well. Heading into her senior season, Blocton is expected to lead on and off the scoreboard.

[player_tooltip player_id='874197' first='Kareena' last='Ortiz'] faked right, stepped back, and connected on a three point shot. it was just one of the many plays she made and her performance caught the attention of one of the hall of fame coaches in the building. Ortiz was praised for her high basketball IQ and understanding of game situations. Ortiz will help lead a team who only lost one senior from last year's roster. with the talent on her team, her role is clear - shoot the ball and keep, be a leader, and continue making great decisions on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='514577' first='Makiyah' last='McHenry'] caught my attention with her defense - her ability to cut off drives to the rim. She also demonstrated lightening quick hands and continually harassed ball handlers. McHenry got the memo that college coaches also recognize good defense. The senior guard is primed for a solid senior season and also upward movement in the prep girl rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='514522' first='Morgan' last='Cremen'] was one of the standout guards in the building and was one of the elder point guards in the building. Cremen stood out in the 1 x 1 match ups and also in the 5 x 5 scrimmages. Cremen has great defensive instincts for stealing the ball, she has been ranked as a state leader in the category for the past three seasons.
