PGH Expo: Team 4 Evaluations

The 2025 Expo was loaded with talent as 80 prospects took the court on September 27th, 2025. Our format included 4 hours of games split up into predetermined 3v3 and 5v5 matchups. Let's talk about media exposure. There have been thousands of views on X of coverage provided by our scouts during the event, and our articles will be read by hundreds. Every participant is featured in our post-event articles, which is a unique and special aspect of the Prep Girls Hoops showcases. Girls had the opportunity to play for different college coaches. My coverage focused primarily on teams 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Here are a few highlights for each player from Team 4 below!    Katelyn is known for her three-point shooting, and she came out firing during 3v3, knocking down a pair of triples. Katelyn was an active defender, distributor, and confident shooter during games with Team 4. She picked off a pass and created steals with her on-ball pressure. Katelyn turned ball-handlers with her quick feet and threw a strong skip pass to an open teammate for an assist. She chased down a loose ball for an offensive rebound, dribbled out to the perimeter, and buried a deep wing three. Katelyn had a solid day at The Expo.     Gabrielle has length that immediately grabs your attention, and she has the potential to be a highly recruited post prospect in her class. Gabrielle used her length to disrupt shots in the paint and maintained good positioning without fouling. She gave Team 4 a solid rebounding presence at The Expo and made unselfish kick-out passes to open shooters on the perimeter.     Reagan had the ball on a string, and she put on a dribble clinic at The Expo. During 3v3, she chased down a rebound and made a great kick-out pass for an assist. Reagan changed directions suddenly with a sick double-crossover combo, fooled her defender with a brief rim stare, then shifted gears to drive-by with a burst for an opposite-hand stretch layup. Reagan made a smart backdoor cut and finished with a layup. Reagan kept it rolling with Team 4, finishing layups with both hands and throwing strong passes to open teammates for assists. She buried a smooth triple from the wing off the catch and is dangerous from the perimeter.     Lily turned in a complete performance at The Expo for Team 4. She pursued rebounds on both ends, scored with her left hand off two feet, and cut backdoor for a layup. Lily is athletic, quick, and a lockdown defender. She forced missed shots and bottled up guards with textbook footwork. Lily stripped the ball away for a steal and dished out assists. She showed off her range, drilling threes from the slot and the corner. Lily drives downhill with determination and speed. She finished a hard baseline drive through contact for a strong layup off two feet. Lily earned recognition as a Top Performer.     Emma was locked in from the beginning for Team 4. She attacked gaps relentlessly with her dribble and finished many layups with both hands. Emma poured in three-pointers from the corner, created steals with her active defense, and dished out assists. There is no quit in her game. After a miss, Emma immediately went into a dead sprint and chased down the ball to prevent any transition scoring. She never stops talking on the court. Emma energized her teammates and added an exclamation point with a strong and-one layup with her left hand. She earned recognition as a Top Performer at The Expo.     Caroline was productive in every category for Team 4 at The Expo. She moved laterally quickly to cut off dribble drives. Her excellent awareness led to steals and deflections. Caroline fired skip passes to teammates and scanned the floor in transition. She attacked with a burst down the baseline to score a layup and crashed hard to secure rebounds. Caroline was a Top Performer and had a great all-around day.     Elliana was an impactful forward for Team 4 at The Expo. She blocked a shot, sprinted ahead, and finished with a transition layup. Elliana used a pound dribble in the paint and knocked down a tough, contested, turnaround jumper. She worked hard to seal defenders inside and used drop steps to score off two feet. Elliana secured an offensive board and put home the layup. She finished well around the basket and earned recognition as a Top Performer.
