The 2025 Expo was loaded with talent as 80 prospects took the court on September 27th, 2025. Our format included 4 hours of games split up into predetermined 3v3 and 5v5 matchups. Let's talk about media exposure. There have been thousands of views on X of coverage provided by our scouts during the event, and our articles will be read by hundreds. Every participant is featured in our post-event articles, which is a unique and special aspect of the Prep Girls Hoops showcases. Girls had the opportunity to play for different college coaches. My coverage focused primarily on teams 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Here are a few highlights for each player from Team 3 below!

Zoe drove down the lane with a burst, landed on two feet, and created the space she needed with a step-through pivot to score the contested floater. She played tough inside, earned a trip to the foul line, and knocked down the free throw. Zoe sprinted ahead in transition and finished with a layup--she converted shots around the basket with smooth ball transfers off the catch. She's a tough guard who plays hard on both ends and had a solid day for Team 3 at The PGH Expo.

Ella came through in the clutch for Team 3 at the PGH Expo. She answered the opponent's triple with her own late in regulation and drained another from the wing in overtime. Ella split defenders with a hard drive to cause a foul in the closing seconds, then buried both free throws at the line to seal the win. She accelerated down the baseline to score a layup through contact and buried a smooth triple up top off the catch. Ella kept getting to the free-throw line by attacking off the dribble, scored a strong and-one off the dribble, and caused turnovers with her active hands on defense. She earned recognition as a Top Performer.

Brooklynn proved that making the right plays and playing unselfish basketball can make you one of the most impactful players on the court. She was the most effective screener in the gym and that led to many open looks for teammates. Brooklynn set a perfect down screen that led to an important three-pointer for her team. She was an active rebounder and a great defender. Brooklynn walled up on a drive to force a travel, finished a jump stop with a step-through layup, and added a left-handed finish off two feet. She was a Top Performer and all-around difference maker for Team 3 at the PGH Expo.

Devyn showed her defensive instincts during 3v3 by picking off a pass and had good moments for Team 3 at the PGH Expo. Devyn made a highlight reel play when she shifted gears with a quick hesitation dribble, drove by her defender, switched hands, and finished with the layup. She shot the ball with confidence from beyond the arc and ripped the net with a deep straightaway triple. Devyn competed hard on both ends and has prototypical length as a guard that translates to the college game.

Reece has length, athleticism, and hustle that immediately grab your attention. Her positive communication, joy, athleticism, strength, and performance made her a Top Performer on the court. Reece contributed in every statistical category for Team 3. She showed her outside range by knocking down a pair of triples and was a rebounding machine. Reece scored put-backs and drove with a full head of steam down the lane to earn many trips to the free-throw line. She was perfect 5 for 5 from the charity stripe in game one. Reece caused misses with excellent wall-up technique and created steals. She pushed the ball with both hands in transition and split defenders with an explosive burst to score contested layups. Reece battled three players to secure an offensive rebound in the paint and kicked the ball to an open teammate. Reece was a breakout performer who stepped up in the spotlight.

Aaliyah has athleticism, a fundamentally polished set of skills, impactful defense, and length as a guard that immediately stand out. She was an excellent facilitator, dished out many assists, and her accurate passes helped everyone get looks at the basket. Aaliyah drained multiple three-pointers with sound shooting mechanics and turned on the jets to score a tough coast-to-coast layup in transition. Aaliyah powered through contact on a drive to score another layup and used a quick spin move to cause a foul--knocked down the free throw. She has shifty crossover dribbles and is a guard who left a lasting impression with Team 3 at the PGH Expo, earning recognition as a Top Performer.
