Bryan is heady and showed something very important: she understands how to control the tempo while being pressured. You don't know how important something so simple means a lot in the big picture, so her setting teammates up for good looks was nice, as was her attacking to score or dish. Another huge plus was the "on the ball" pressure she applied, as well as her quick hands to pick pockets

Lollar falls into that "long and athletic" group, which I overemphasize as being THE BASE because not only do I love that profile, but many next-level coaches do as well. She came from out of nowhere to rebound; that's a big plus, but her timing to block shots was another one. Her defense inside the paint looked good, but she also showed she could guard her man outside of it. Her first step is nice, she used it to score off the dribble

Wilkes showed some impressive skills, and one of them, which had me smiling, was her ability to get positioning under the basket to outrebound taller players on both ends. She scored around the basket, putbacks included, and she did a good job attacking off the dribble to finish, nice body control after contact. Her defense was solid, so was her court vision, but peep this, she did something I love seeing, played the passing lane

Flores was everywhere on defense, and being a #sizedontmatter guard, it doesn't matter when you can play, so her intensity stayed the same on both ends, placing her in that "never takes a play off" group. She created havoc, which led to turnovers, yet her baseline-to-baseline pressure never let up. She was another player who did a good job playing the passing lane; her court vision was solid, and so was her "catch and shoot" jumper

Thompson gave me a glimpse of what to expect during the 3 on 3 because she was yet another #sizedontmatter guard who not only didn't back down, but made her presence felt on both ends. Her "on the ball" pressure was smothering at times as she defended strongly in the half and full court. Her first step is also nice as she got by the defender to score off the dribble, but her pull-up jumper and playing the passing lane were also pluses

Levin had me smiling as she immediately got into character during the 3 on 3, applying "on the ball" heat. Yeah, she did a good job attacking and scoring, but it seemed like she enjoyed playing defense. Well, she showed she did when the 5 on 5 went live as she read plays before they happened, forcing players to not only pick up their dribble but also send them into traps. She also showed solid court vision, both in the set as well as in transition
